Tryout Age Groups & Times
*field assignments per age group will be available at the check in table. 

5:30-7:00pm - Boys & Girls U7, U8, U9, U10
7:00-8:30pm - Boys & Girls U11, U12, U13, U14

Player Check In
Please make sure you are arriving to check in 15-20 minutes before the tryout time, to ensure enough time to receive your tryout number and get to your field. Players are asked to wear a GRAY jersey or t-shirt. Check in will be right inside the main entrance of the turf fields. 

What to Bring
Please bring a water bottle, cleats, shin guards, and a soccer ball. Make sure the player's name is on the soccer ball, including a good phone number.

Rockford Raptors will be following the new breakdown for age groups, starting the 2026-2027 Season. Age Group breakdowns are as outlined below. All players are required to tryout with whichever group they fall under with their date of birth. 

U7 - August 1st 2019 - July 31st 2020
U8 - August 1st 2018 - July 31st 2019
U9 - August 1st 2017 - July 31st 2018
U10 - August 1st 2016 - July 31st 2017
U11 - August 1st 2015 - July 31st 2016
U12 - August 1st 2014 - July 31st 2015
U13 - August 1st 2013 - July 31st 2014
U14 - August 1st 2012 - July 31st 2013
U15 - August 1st 2011 - July 31st 2012
U16 - August 1st 2010 - July 31st 2011
U17 - August 1st 2009 - July 31st 2010
U18 - August 1st 2008 - July 31st 2009
U19 - August 1st 2007 - July 31st 2008

Club Season Outline

Leagues: YSSL, IWSL, ECNL, ECNL Regional League, Pre-ECNL, NL P2

**Age Group and League Information and Pricing will be made available the day before the first tryout date, of that group. This information will be available at the tryout check in table, along with on the Raptors website. 

Players can attend all tryout dates/times for their age group. It is NOT required to attend all tryout dates for your child's age group, it is just  highly recommended to attend as many as you can so coaches can get the most accurate evaluation.

**Please only register your child once, and they can attend all tryout sessions for their age group. If you attended any tryouts before, you do NOT need to register them again, as they will still be in the system. This tryout registration is for ALL 2026-2027 Rockford Raptors teams.

Boys & Girls U8-U10 (7v7 Games) - $650 (70 Minute Games)
Boys & Girls U11-U12 (9v9 Games) - $725 (70 Minute Games)
Boys & Girls U12 (11v11 Option) - $825 (70 Minute Games)
Boys & Girls U13-U14 (11v11) - $825 (70 Minute Games)
Boys & Girls U15-U19 (11v11) - $925 (80 Minute Games)

Tournament Format
3 Guaranteed Games Per Team
One Game Per Day for U16-U19 (college format)
Friday Game Start Times - 5pm, 6:30pm, 8:00pm
No Playoffs 
Awards Based On Points
1st & 2nd Place Team Awards - top two teams in each bracket once bracket games have concluded. 

Coaching/Scheduling Conflicts
Coaching Team Conflicts - 3 Teams MAX
No Friday Game Request -  If your team is from over an hour and half away, you may request no Friday night games. Must communicate that request in application or to raptorsfcinfo@gmail.com before March 15th.
NO Day/Time Requests will be taken. Teams must be able to play each day.  

Stay To Play Event 
This is a Stay To Play tournament, and all teams from over an hour and half away MUST book the hotel rooms through Traveling Teams. Once your team is registered, a Traveling Teams representative will reach out to those teams who qualify to stay.
