Insane. One of the greatest albums ever made. Jay Graydon and Al were a hell of a combination

Here's a nice array of jazz-lite grooves, with punchy horns, synth bass, muted rhythm guitar(Jay Graydon) and smooth vocals by a true master of his art. Highlights are "Save Me", "Step By Step", and "Mornin'".

Great mix and master, a prime example of early '80s music production. The voice sounds enormous. Also, some of the best Rhodes piano committed to tape.

      3.5 stars

How do you tell a Pitman pressing from the other 1983 US pressing?

This has become a bonafide "desert island" album for me. I literally love every song on here, not just the hits/singles.
Jay Graydon & Al knocked it out of the park on this.
Perfection in songwriting, production, arrangements, and of course Al's vocals. 10/10.
