For me, it has always been about the details — micro fetishes, the little things that others might overlook. My mother ran a shoe shop, so I always had access to the latest trends. That upbringing definitely shaped my obsession with style and variety, but there were other influences too — the Madonna Erotica album and book being among the most formative. These obsessions have always been a part of me, and now I feel ready to share my memories, stories, and experiments with you. Many images are 4K, so feel free to examine them closely.

The damsel in distress aesthetic has always spoken to me within that same visual language. Rooted in Victorian melodrama and the pulp magazine covers of the 1940s and 50s, it evolved through the latter decades of the century into a recognised niche — a collaborative, stylised craft built around costume, narrative, and composition. For me it connects directly to those same micro-obsessions: the rope, the shoes, the fabric, the pose. Every detail tells a story.
