- Town hall features in Microsoft Teams enable a new experience to host and deliver large-scale events to create connections inside and outside of an organization. Town halls will provide a one-to-many format with advanced production capabilities and a structured approach for attendee engagement.
- An enterprise subscription to Teams or Microsoft 365 or Office 365 that includes a Teams license can use town hall features. However, to use advanced town hall features and capabilities, the organizer must add a Teams Premium license to an existing enterprise subscription.
- With Teams Premium, customers get everything included in the base enterprise license plus up to 20,000 attendees, up to 50 concurrent events across a tenant, customization of email communications, Microsoft eCDN included, third-party eCDN supported, and organizers can select up to 10 languages for live translated captions.
