Just a passing happy thought

One the government controls healthcare, they can use the threat of fines, penalties and punishments to control everything you do that influences your health. And we can expect a celebrated (by the "news" media) increase in physician-assisted suicides. Those will save the government insurance bureaucrats a bundle of money that would have gone toward end-of-life care.

Tortured for the fourth amendment

The fourth amendment is a dangerous thing to government goons.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Bookleggers unite

What can be done to save pre-1985 children's books banned by the government over bogus safety concerns? If you're a bookseller or librarian in east central Illinois or west central Indiana and are going to trash your "dangerous" books, we'll take them. The biggest heist in history

Here's the official website for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. It sounds as though they're actually proud of stealing my money and wasting it on vast ruinous mountains of crap.

A lot of the so-called "stimulus package" goes towards funding federal programs, none of which ever have their budgets cut. This means that future budgets will allocate even more stolen money to continue funding the projects at their inflated "stimulus" levels. The effects of that are seen here, courtesy of the Congressional Budget Office.

This whole thing is yet another obscenity produced by the shameless bastards who claim to be our government.
