20% of the population experiences math anxiety, according to Journal of Anxiety Disorders, and take it from us: that’s no small number. While math anxiety is very real, it doesn't have to impact our confidence or ability to do well in class. To mark Mental Health Awareness Month in May, we hosted an expert panel with Amanda Morin, The Jed Foundation (JED), Justin Puder, Ph.D., and Jessa White, M.A to explore how math anxiety and school-related stress can impact students, and how parents, caregivers, and teachers can help students manage and overcome these heavy feelings. Last week, we at Photomath were proud to host a Girls in ICT Day event with 110 attendees! 🎉 Girls in ICT Day is a global initiative aimed at encouraging more girls to pursue careers in technology and ICT. As a tech company, we believe it's important to support initiatives like this and help promote diversity and inclusion in our industry. During the event, we had the opportunity to engage with young women and inspire them to pursue their passion for technology.
