20% of the population experiences math anxiety, according to Journal of Anxiety Disorders, and take it from us: that’s no small number. While math anxiety is very real, it doesn't have to impact our confidence or ability to do well in class. To mark Mental Health Awareness Month in May, we hosted an expert panel with Amanda Morin, The Jed Foundation (JED), Justin Puder, Ph.D., and Jessa White, M.A to explore how math anxiety and school-related stress can impact students, and how parents, caregivers, and teachers can help students manage and overcome these heavy feelings. Did you know that Photomath was started almost ten years ago by our founder Damir Sabol, after he was trying to help his son with his math homework? He knew there must be a better way, and Photomath was born to support the millions of other parents and students in a similar position. Today our community is using Photomath in all kinds of ways to learn, practice, and understand math at their own pace - and feel more confident along the way. Check out our latest blog to discover how Photomath can help you in a few ways you might not have thought of. ➡ https://lnkd.in/eQitQKj2

Millions of teachers all over the world use Photomath to create dynamic learning opportunities for their students or encourage them to practice math at their own pace – and that teacher relationship is near and dear to our hearts. Our math content is developed by former teachers and math experts who care deeply about the student experience, so the educator perspective is one we value greatly (and one we’ll continue to amplify).
