  • Xbox Series S is backwards compatible with thousands of games across four generations of Xbox. With Smart Delivery games, you can buy a digital game once and get the best version of that game for the console you’re playing on. Because Xbox Series S is all-digital, to play a backwards compatible game just access your digital game library through the console and select the game you want to play.

  • All Xbox Game Studio titles include Smart Delivery, so you get the best version of the game no matter which console you play on. Partner games that have chosen to include Smart Delivery will make note of the feature on their digital game page or on the box the disc comes in.

  • The Xbox Series S console comes with one Xbox Series S controller, a high-speed HDMI cable, and a power cord. Shop all accessories to make sure you have what you need to get gaming.

  • Xbox Series S is compatible with standard standalone hard drives, and products with the “Designed for Xbox” badge are supported by Xbox. For the best experience, we recommend the 1TB Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S. It plugs into the back of the console via the dedicated storage expansion port and replicates the console’s custom SSD experience, providing additional game storage at the same performance.

  • The Xbox Series S is an all-digital gaming console for disc-free gaming. Disc-based games are not compatible with Xbox Series S.
