Original advisory: The original Wolfram Language 13.1 documentation installer for Linux has a serious bug. If the installation is stopped before completing, files in the user directory may be deleted. We are actively working on a fix, but note that this issue is not triggered if the documentation installs successfully.

If you have already installed the Wolfram Language 13.1 documentation, there is no reason to uninstall. Please discard any copies of the original installer. A new installer will be available in the Wolfram User Portal and Wolfram Account as soon as testing concludes.
