Hey there,
I have a problem. I have deleted a picture in the media center and there it is not available any more, but when I write the url of the file in the browser, the picture is still advisible. How can I delete it complete?

Our images are cached for a period of time and then automatically purged not long after deletion.

We can also manually purge the cache, but we’ll need to know the URL of the image.

thanks for the answer. The picture https://nordkap2010.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/nordeuropa2.gif has to be completely deleted, because I have problems with the rights of this picture.

If it´s easier for you, you can delete the hole folder “/06/” then there should not be another version of this file on the server.

Hi, the file is still available, I tried it on different computers/browsers. Please check again. Maybe it would be best to delete the whole folder “2010/06″…

I purged all cached versions of that image from all our servers across the globe. Please give it a few hours and see if you’re still seeing that image. If you still do, please clear your browser’s cache as it most likely the image is cached on your computer.
