    If we disagree on the issues, that's fine — get up, make your case, win the votes! But do not be cowardly and try to prevent people from voting just because they're going to vote against you. YES — we must pass the For The People Act and make it easier to vote in this country.

    This is barbaric. Sending children into classrooms of 30+ children with no requirement or expectation that children or parents will be told when they’ve been in close contact with an infected classmate. Deliberate infection of the nation’s children. /1

    Dystopian- in England when schools re-open next wk, parents won't be told when their child sits right next to someone who tests positive for SARS-CoV-2- because that's not considered a 'contact'. They will need to stay in classes of 30 with no mitigations, while possibly infected

    Many parents are less delighted though, , that the opportunity to actually make schools safer over the summer - ensuring adequate ventilation for starters - had been missed for the second year running, risking even more disruption to education.

    Delighted to see students already starting to return to school and college. This academic year let’s get back to a greater sense of normality but continue to keep some of the measures to protect ourselves from Covid.
