The Gun Way
From Obama's speech last night:
If anything, you should have said "The nation of the persons that invented the mass production of firearms doesn't walk, we drive cars."
It's probably too much to ask for a left wing, fascism pushing, socialist to credit gun people with inventing one of the most significant, cost lowering, quality improving manufacturing techniques ever created, which is largely responsible for Americas wealth and our quality of life.
OBAMA: "And I believe the nation that invented the automobile cannot walk away from it."No 'nation' invented the automobile, Mr. President. Although this does show something about the way you think. You probably meant the invention of assembly line construction of cars, which a Mr. Ford used to make cars affordable. Mr. Ford did not invent the assembly line, however, Springfield Armory and a man named Sam Colt invented it, and it was called The Gun Way until Ford stole the credit for it.
