Ozzie, understood to be a Pentecostal Christian, initially fled before doubling back.

He told a friend: “I realised I had to do something. If I hadn’t turned back there were so many people caught up in the panic there would have been more hurt.

“Me and another guy started launching bar stools, bottles and glasses at them to try and disrupt them.

Another Islamic Terrorist Attack

LONDON — A van driving at high speed mowed down pedestrians on London Bridge late Saturday night before the occupants got out and began stabbing patrons at nearby bars and restaurants, witnesses said in an attack that police described as the latest in a string of deadly terrorist strikes to hit Britain this spring.

Witnesses described a rampage that left a trail of bloodied bodies on the bridge and in the adjacent Borough Market — both of which are London landmarks.

And Trump's attempt to temporarily delay travellers from six countries where Islamic extremism is a problem, why?  And thank goodness they have gun control.  Because vans and knives aren't deadly.  /nor do stabbers have to worry about victims shooting back.

CAIRO — Militants in military-style uniforms opened fire on a bus carrying Coptic Christians in central Egypt on Friday, killing at least 28 people in the latest bloodshed targeting the country’s Christian minority, officials said.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility. But the Islamic State has claimed links to previous attacks against Egypt’s Christians, who make up about 10 percent of the population.

The attack also took place on the eve of Islam’s holy month of Ramadan, a time when some militant factions have stepped up attacks in the past.

It would be a sign of the hatred that Trump has unleashed.

Andy was in the arena's foyer waiting for his wife and daughter when he was thrown to the ground by the force of the explosion.

He told BBC 5 live the scene was "like something out of a war film".

"When I get up and look round, there's just bodies everywhere. I reckon 20-30 bodies. I can't say if some of them were dead but they looked dead.

"They were covered in blood and were really seriously hurt. The first thing I did was I ran into the arena trying to find my family." He found his family, who were safe, but said there were "kids and teenagers just lying there screaming".

Some reports say suicide nail bomb. Amazing how progressives insist these attacks have nothing to do with Islam.

Paris is spending 20 million euros ($22 million) to build a protective barrier around the Eiffel Tower to replace temporary structures that were put up after a series of terror attacks.

“Sadly, the risk of terrorism hasn’t gone away,” deputy mayor Jean-François Martins said at a Paris press conference. “It’s not a wall, it’s an aesthetic perimeter.”

The two men arrested following the deadly shooting at a Quebec City mosque Sunday night have been identified as Alexandre Bissonnette and Mohamed Khadir, Radio-Canada has learned....

A witness who asked to remain anonymous told Radio-Canada that two masked individuals entered the mosque. 

"It seemed to me that they had a Québécois accent. They started to fire, and as they shot, they yelled, 'Allahu akbar!' The bullets hit people that were praying. People who were praying lost their lives. A bullet passed right over my head."

Perhaps an attack for not being sufficiently radical?

Frontline Fighting: Battling ISIS (2015)

Follow three Brits who volunteer to fight ISIS as part of a Kurdish militia.  These are volunteers with no family attachments to the region who decided as one describes that ISIS is a threat to civilization and must be crushed.  The film follows them in an offensive to retake one region of Syria and destroy the ISIS headquarters on the top of a hill.  After several weeks of advancing and retaking villages from ISIS, the U.S. Air Force demolishes the ISIS HQ.  You can tell the volunteers are glad that the U.S. is helping (none of the European "powers" were doing so at the time).  These three Brits aren't the only foreign volunteers; there is also Kevin from Germany and Bob from Wisconsin (holding a sniper rifle like he knows how to use it).

Only one of the Brit volunteers had military service before joining up.  He also had a degree in Western Philosophy.  (Here, let me apply some deep thinking to your ignorance, ISIS).  For those skeptical of female combat soldiers,many of the Kurdish militia were young women, some only teenagers.  Of course, who has a stronger incentive to fight these savages?

A couple of months ago, Czech President Milos Zeman made an unusual request: He urged citizens to arm themselves against a possible "super-Holocaust" carried out by Muslim terrorists.

Never mind that there are fewer than 4,000 Muslims in this country of 10 million people — gun purchases spiked. One shop owner in East Bohemia, a region in the northern center of the Czech Republic, told a local paper that people were scared of a "wave of Islamists."

Now the country's interior ministry is pushing a constitutional change that would let citizens use guns against terrorists. Proponents say this could save lives if an attack occurs and police are delayed or unable to make their way to the scene. To become law, Parliament must approve the proposal; they'll vote in the coming months.

The Czech Republic already has some of the most lenient gun policies in Europe. It's home to about 800,000 registered firearms and 300,000 people with gun licenses. Obtaining a weapon is relatively easy: Residents must be 21, pass a gun knowledge check and have no criminal record. By law, Czechs can use their weapons to protect their property or when in danger, although they need to prove they faced a real threat.

Alerts like the one released by the FBI have become commonplace around major events and holidays, said Arnold Bogis, a former Harvard fellow and homeland security consultant. But he said they can help spur local authorities to dispatch extra patrols or be “a little extra-vigilant” around larger gatherings or religious congregations.

 “You don’t need an ISIS or a group like that to inspire people to target a church,” he said, pointing to the 2015 massacre of nine people at a South Carolina church at the hands of a white supremacist.

“They’re the ultimate soft targets.”

They don't have to be.  Arm for church.

Hard Left Companies Being Sued

SAN FRANCISCO — Facebook, Google and Twitter are being sued by the families of three victims slain in the mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub for allegedly providing "material support" to the Islamic State.

The lawsuit, first reported by Fox News, was filed Monday in federal court in the eastern district of Michigan on behalf of the families of Tevin Crosby, Javier Jorge-Reyes and Juan Ramon Guerrero.

The lawsuit is the latest to target popular Internet services for making it too easy for the Islamic State to spread its message. In June, the family of a California college student killed in last year's terrorist attacks in Paris sued Facebook, Google and Twitter. Keith Altman, the attorney representing the three families in the Orlando nightclub lawsuit, also represents the family of that student, Nohemi Gonzalez, in the Paris terrorist attacks lawsuit.

Not saying that there is merit to the suit, but because the left is so fiercely pro-Islam, this is entertaining.

Pakistani Arrested After Truck Terrorist Attack

Berlin (AFP) - A sudden bang -- and then everything went dark.

Survivors of the carnage caused when a lorry ploughed into a Berlin Christmas market recount the fear and horror they felt when festive revelry turned to death and destruction in a matter of seconds.

Many also told of lucky escapes and chance decisions that meant they were not standing in the path of the truck that mowed down the crowd on Monday, killing at least 12 people.

This isn't the first such Islamist truck massacre.  Think back to the Bastille Day attack.  What next?  Vehicle licensing?  Too late.

Tonight German police faced difficult questions about their investigation after they released the only suspect they had in custody, saying there was not enough evidence to tie him to the rampage.  

Naved B, a 23-year-old Pakistani asylum seeker, had been detained in the immediate aftermath of last night's carnage following a tip-off from witnesses. But Naved B, who had no blood on his clothes and no injuries, denied having anything to do with bloodbath. It means the killer lorry driver remains on the loose and armed with a gun.

A new suspect in the deadly terror attack on a Christmas market in Berlin has been identified.

Law enforcement sources told CBS News that police are searching for Anis Amri, a native of Tunisia. The sources said Amri left personal documents in the truck that rammed into the market on Monday, killing 12 people and injuring nearly 50 others. German media outlets have identified the Tunisian man as an asylum seeker who was registered in the North Rhine-Westphalia in Western Germany.

Traces of explosives have been found on victims of the EgyptAir plane that crashed into the Mediterranean in May, Egyptian investigators say.

A criminal investigation would now begin into the crash of the Airbus A320, the civil aviation ministry said.

Flight MS804 from Paris to Cairo plunged into the sea on 19 May killing all 66 people on board.

A source close to the French investigation says they have doubts about Egypt's latest findings.

They told the BBC there had been "difficulties" working with the Egyptian authorities and that their main concern was to see the remains of the French victims returned to France.

The plane had been carrying 40 Egyptians, including the 10-member crew, and 15 French nationals.

WASHINGTON/COLUMBUS, Ohio (Reuters) - A Somali immigrant who injured 11 people at Ohio State University in a vehicle and stabbing attack before he was shot dead may have followed the same path to self-radicalization as militants in a number of "lone wolf" attacks, U.S. officials said on Tuesday.

Self-radicalization sounds the the political version of the sin of Onan.  I suspect there would be less if we could develop an IP-seeking drone that traces back to the originating authors of the ISIS garbage.

The Somali-born student who went on a car-and-knife rampage at Ohio State University railed on Facebook against U.S. interference in Muslim lands and warned, "If you want us Muslims to stop carrying lone wolf attacks, then make peace" with the Islamic State group, a law enforcement official said Tuesday....

A law enforcement official said Artan came to the United States in 2014 as the child of a refugee. He had been living in Pakistan from 2007 to 2014. It is not uncommon for refugees to go to a third-party country before being permanently resettled. 

Wow!  A Muslim refugee!  No wonder Democrats want more!  I understand this car and knife attack is being called an argument for gun control.  Of course.  Never let facts get in the way of your fanaticism.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - New York police will use sand-filled trucks, radiation detectors, bomb-sniffing dogs and heavily armed officers on Thursday to defend the 90th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which Islamic State has encouraged its followers to attack.

Officials expect 3.5 million people to converge on the 2.5-mile (4-km) parade route in Manhattan for the annual, nationally televised ritual that initiates the holiday shopping season with giant balloons shaped like cartoon characters.

The 82 sand trucks from the Sanitation Department will be used to counter a threat by Islamic State, also known as ISIS, ISIL or Daesh, which has called the parade an "excellent target."

The group has encouraged readers of its online magazine Rumiyah to use motor vehicles to kill and injure people, similar to the way a Tunisian-born assailant killed more than 80 people at a Bastille Day celebration in Nice, France.

The sand trucks weigh 16 tons (14.5 metric tons) and twice that when filled with sand, making them difficult to move even if rammed by large vehicles.

So this is why we need to import 100,000 inadequately screened refugees from Muslim nations?

Surprisingly, some Iraqis seemed less offended by Mr. Trump’s comments linking terrorism to Islam than American liberals.

Iraqis have endured years of Islam being used to justify mass killing, and some see Mr. Trump as a truth-teller in calling out Islam — or a certain brand of it — as the problem.
Iraqi Shiites say they believe Mr. Trump will take a harder line on Saudi Arabia, the Sunni power that many see as the incubator of the extreme form of Islam, Wahhabism, that forms a basis of the Islamic State’s ideology.

“The victory of Trump is the beginning of the end of extremist Islam and Wahhabism,” said Mouwafak al-Rubaie, an Iraqi lawmaker and the country’s former national security adviser. [emphasis added]

Of course, because liberals in their guarded penthouses have less to worry about from Islamic terrorism than Muslims in rough parts of the Earth.
