A real court would have ignored this totally unfounded complaint. But the “victim” knew just who to run to for help in obtaining money for nothing:

A premeditated shakedown if ever there was one…
This is why I don’t get all that excited over the supposed promise of the Conservatives to scrap Section 13 — the “hate” speech provision. It would be nice to see it end, but *yawn* — no big deal. The scrapping of Section 13 would have no effect on the above case. These illiberal thugs would still exist and would probably just double-down on attacking companies, knowing full well that most businesses will pay up rather than go through the punishing process.
I’m glad to see this company stand their ground with the help of Ezra. But until these rights-crushing groups are totally defunded and disbanded and their employees kicked to the curb to find productive jobs, businesses will still be fearful of being their next shakedown target.

Redford came from the ranks of the AHRC, no chance of her Keystone commies repealing the shakedown commission. I had no doubts the Alberta PCs were totally infiltrated with reds when I saw Lindsay Blackett gaged and turfed from cabinet for openly musing about reforming the AHRC act, I knew the reds were in full control and had no intention of reforming the HRC racketeering.
Let’s hope Monday Albertans hire a new broom to sweek Government clean of crypto-communists masquerading as incumbant conservatives.
Things are getting better, though! If I hadn’t read, ‘Shakedown,’ I wouldn’t have known about 99% of the stuff that goes on with the HRC. I had heard about the comedian Guy Earle’s troubles and that’s when I first got interested in it. These days we have Sun News to inform us of this joke of a secondary legal system. Go Ezra, go!
