Modern Warfare 3 Special Edition Xbox 360 Announced

Today at Call of Duty XP, Microsoft introduced the Modern Warfare 3 Special Edition Xbox 360 and bundle.

Like the original Special Edition Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360, the new Modern Warfare 3 edition system was designed, in-part, by Activision. The system sports a worn metallic silver finish, with Modern Warfare 3 logos placed on the front and sides. The system comes with a 320GB hard drive, and features custom startup and disk ejection sounds based on Modern Warfare 3.

Naturally, the system will be offered in a bundled form, complete with two wireless controllers and a copy of Modern Warfare 3. If, however, you'd like to purchase the controller but not the whole console, Microsoft will be offering it separately as well.

Finally, Microsoft has also announced a new Modern Warfare 3 version of its new Bluetooth-enabled wireless headset, which can also be purchased on its own as well. The headset is stylized to complement the console.

The console, along with the controllers and the new headset, will arrive alongside the game later this year. For more on Call of Duty, stay tuned to IGN.com.
