Equipped with vehicles that transform into a kart, boat, or plane depending on the racing environment, Sonic and the familiar cast of all-stars go head-to-head on the tarmac, skies, and seas in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS and PC Digital Download sometime late in 2012.

| Sonic the Hedgehog | Robotnik | Vyse | AiAi | Gilius Thunderhead |
What kinds of race tracks are there?
The environments will draw inspiration from SEGA's other franchises and take place on land, in the air, and in the water.
How will Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed be any different from Mario Kart?
For one thing, a change in racing surface actually will affect the racing gameplay. You might notice handling changes once you've hit the water when compared to land.
In addition, the environments will transform as characters race through them. For instance, the road could crumble into the water or steepen to send a racer skyward.
Are there any new features?
You will be able to earn points to put toward a leveling system, which can potentially unlock vehicle mods and other goodies.
Is there multiplayer?
Yep! You will be able to compete in local, split-screen multiplayer with friends and family, or brave the online multiplayer world that supports up to eight racers.
Can I still play by myself in single player?
There will be a single-player mode that features 16 new tracks.
Are there any tracks returning from the original?
Four favorites from the original game will return, including Jet Set Radio Future's Shibuya and the Death Egg track. [1]
