Due to pressures from increased newsprint costs, lost advertising revenue, and loss of readership to free media sources online and elsewhere, the newspaper industry is slowly dying. Worse still, journalists are losing their jobs as the industry cuts back and struggles to survive. Help spread the word and encourage people to pick up a newspaper today! |

An interesting take on the uphill battle that digital delivery faces, with sugestions to fix some of the problems. At least the author admits that "blitheley saying we'll just read those newspapers online won't be possible if the newspapers cease publication."
