To this day, I've only seen a couple of episodes of the original Mission: Impossible, knowing it more via pop cultural references to it, but just over a week ago I found an entire season (one of the later ones) in a remainder bin for $10, along with season three of another blank space, The Wild, Wild West. I'm looking forward to finally catching up with the real thing.
The later seasons became more and more technical, beginning to resemble bad Bond movies. But, like many fine shows, if you've seen one, you've seen 'em all -- it's the same format episode to episode.
The differences are in the hairstyles and the overacting. . . .

The first season, with Mr. Briggs here in the comic, were the best.
