Although a pretty blatant rip off of the "Cool Jerk" riff, this is a fantastic record. It's hard to sit still still while listening to this one. From New York City and released in 1968. Get up and do the GET-E-UP! Yeeehaw!

Great groove - very much in the Northern Soul tradition. Fantastic site by the way.
OK A-side, but in my opinion the B-side is the more interesting one today. Take a good listen! Mid-tempo Northern Soul that starts slowly and then builds and grows. Great bass line foundation. Def. deserves some attention!
