Bread Lines in the '70's
St. Louis -- St. Louis residents queue up at one of the city's food stamp distribution centers. The long lines are caused by a number of factors, including the closing of city offices for Columbus Day; some 9,000 United Auto Workers union members out on strike, and the short 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. hours of the center.
