Today on Flashpoints Oakland City Mayor Jean Quan is now overseeing the most violent reaction to Occupy protestors in the country. Last night and today more than 14 people were arrested including a photographer who was brutalized and arrested for taking pictures in front of city hall. We’ll speak with the photographer and other activists on the scene now in Oakland. And we’ll speak to Palestinian leader and human rights activist Omar Barghouti who will be speaking in a benefit for the middle east children’s alliance on the theme of occupy Wallstreet, not Palestine. And we’ll be joined by noted author and radical social critic Michael Parenti.
