August 31, 2011 – Level 22 Expo announced on Wednesday that the Louisville stop of the multi-city tour scheduled for September 10 & 11, 2011, will need to be rescheduled to a later date.  Chief executive Chris Matz said that he was informed by a key vendor that they would only be able to supply a fraction of the dozens of video game consoles and video screens necessary for the tournament.  “With less than two weeks to go before the show date, it’s virtually impossible at this point to secure and prepare the additional equipment necessary to produce a tournament of this size,” said Matz.

Level 22 Expo stated those that have purchased tickets will receive full refunds and vouchers for passes to a future show.

What is Level 22 Super Fest?   It’s a video game party like you’ve never seen before.  It’s all centered around our 4-person team tournaments for Halo and Call of Duty where you and your friends can play for cash prizes.  After you’re done winning your tournament, you can enjoy our free play areas, fun inflatable games like gladiator joust and big glove boxing, or laser tag.  Stick around and enjoy live music beginning in the afternoon on both days and a concert on Saturday night.

The military is coming too!  They will be raising money for the Wounded Warrior Project by playing in video game tournaments and other fun stuff.  We may even get them to duke it out on gladiator joust or big glove boxing.  A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to Wounded Warrior Project so come support your favorite branch of the armed forces.

Level 22 Expo is sponsoring a rider in the Pelotonia ride to raise money for cancer research. Pelotonia riders take part in a 3 day 180 mile bike ride where every dollar raised goes for cancer research because all of the expenses are covered by corporate sponsors.
