Today, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception gets a dose of life with a new map pack featuring four classic Uncharted levels. The Cave, Fort, Lost City and Sanctuary are all represented in four separate maps. Better yet, these maps have been reworked by Naughty Dog.
"Dynamic lighting effects, new particle effects and a slew of technical changes have been made to these maps. The lighting was reworked from scratch. New textures and weather effects are apparent and freshly decorate all maps," explains Naughty Dog's Community Strategist Eric Monacelli.
These four maps come bundled together for $9.99 and contain no new Trophies. However, if you're a member of the Fortune Hunters' Club (a special DLC program we chronicled last year), you get this map pack for free.
Naughty Dog has also teased upcoming character skin packs. Rogues Pack 1 and Rogues Pack 2 will come in the near future and "will let you play as some of the major thugs and minor characters" from Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Additionally, Donut Pack 1 "will giant-size some of your favorite Uncharted 3 heroes and villains."
