Do you ever sit in class on presentation day and ask yourself, how the hell did these people make it past Jr. High?
Dude, seriously?!? Aw, I’m sorry that happened. I’d have been tempted to raise my hand AND my middle finger!
Sorry, meant to say I’ve had FMS for 22 years & worked at community colleges (until about 2+ years ago), often w/students w/disabilities & that announcement was BEYOND wrong! Hang in there. ~ L
I graduated nursing school (from a community college) last year! It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life – but SO worth it! Good luck!
I’m taking a class at a community college as well. I don’t tell my classmates I already have a master’s degree. I’m afraid I’ll become a social pariah if they knew about it…so mostly I just tell people I’m a receptionist. Keep your head up and get what you can out of the classes and keep rolling!
PS I just got back from a visit to New Orleans and I love love loved it there. Instead of the boring hot dog carts of New York that no one ever eats at you guys have daquirie carts and those amazing square shaped donuts. <3

I’m just finishing my first semester of nursing school. Hang in there…it’s fun & hectic all rolled into one.
I had a professor two years ago give me an “A” on a paper and write “You Write Good” in red letters across the top. It really made me feel like I was getting a “quality education”
Some of my brightest professors were also the most awkward socially.
My school is the DMV of college.
