I’ve looked at thousands of products this year so it was harder than usual narrowing down the group into this curated gallery of what I think are the most beautiful, interesting, unique, mind blowing and innovative products in the market. I iron my shirts myself so I really know why Choi Hyemin has designed the Easy Iron. Collar, cuffs and hard to remove creases require extra pressure and a clever iron maneuver and I struggle with them everyday. Easy Iron kinda splits into two different bases for such tricky creases. I guess once we see the working prototype things will clearer. For now, all I can do is struggle and hope this iron comes out soon!

Love this simple camera called Slite, a device that allows you to slide out the screen and edit images on the go. The new-age cameras have all made us semi-pro at taking pictures. Heck, even the smartphones now allow you to tinker around with minimum tools to improve the pic. So the next logical step is a point and shoot with enhanced features and inbuilt advance tools for image editing. Way to go sammy!

Re-Wine is a clever design that transforms from a reusable, biodegradable carrying case for your wine into a lamp shade that uses the empty bottle as the base. If you’re not looking for a new lamp, the case also has interlocking joints that allow it to be connected to other units to form a custom seat, table or shelf. The more wine you drink, the more modules you have for building lamps or other furniture! Now there’s an idea that’s sure to motivate people!

Designed with MacBook users in mind, this computer tote by features a durable exterior made of a similar anodized aluminum as the MacBook as well as a super-soft internal skin. It will protect your precious Apple at all times, but it also works great as a place to rest your computer when you’re using it on-the-go. Rest it comfortably on your knees when you’re sitting and you’ll find that your laptop is at a comfortable height, stable and isn’t transmitting heat to your legs! Get it here!

The Pick UP marker is a prime example of how sometimes the smallest change can improve a product’s functionality and overall user-friendliness. Instead of lying flat against the whiteboard, the magnetic marker cap is slanted to position the body of the pen at an angle that’s easier to grab. The triangular shape also enhances ergonomics and prevents it from rolling should the marker fall.

The Scale Gas Range integrates a weighing scale within the framework of the cooking range. The idea behind the concept to save your meals from getting burnt! Each recipe has a particular weight when it starts to cook, eventually as the moisture evaporates and the gravy thickens, the weight drops. At this time, if we get distracted with other chores, our dish is sure to burn. To avoid this, after a certain drop in weight, the burner automatically turns off, thus saving the chances of a burnt meal. I think it is a clever idea, especially if you are a new cook!

I haven’t seen many nursing bottles redesigned to such finesse as this Angel Mommy Pack. The bottle is ideal for reheating breast milk using a double boiler system and keeping away unnecessary air. Simple and intuitive to use, I’m sure mothers will appreciate this patented design (hint – it should be out soon).

I’m loving the Totem stool series by Sydney based design studio Anaesthetic! Each stool features a pyramid shaped indention that allows them to be stacked one on top of the other, creating a practical storage solution that also serves as a unique sculptural element. Lightweight, durable, and waterproof they are great for indoor or outdoor use and can be filled with sand or water for a more permanent seating solution or a stable surface for a table-top, footrest, or any other purpose imaginable.

Miroslav Hundak’s FB R2000S concept is loosely based on the BMW R1200S, a Boxer model renowned for sporting performance and dynamic riding characteristics. The athletic look of the FB R2000S is contrasted with a particular touch of lightness in the form of not 2, but 3 hubless wheels with independent suspension and minimal fairings that in combination simply exude power and dynamism. Engineers will have their rightful criticisms, but there’s no denying that it looks fun to ride! Hit the jump for a sweet vid!

Just when you had gotten used to straddling the motorcycle seat- now you’ve gotta switch to sitting in a big comfy chair!? What a pain in the ass! OK – so that’s not an actual problem… but if it was this would be the solution! More aesthetically charming than practical, the Biker Chair reinterprets the seating position on a bike to a woven leather chair that’s sure to be a conversation starter.

No relation to the band, but this groovy headphone is interactive and allows you to play with your music. It features a 4-axis-directional button on one side; this is to pick the samples available on the SD card. The other side features a rotatable part to scratch your MP3 on the go!

Because they usually come in limited sizes, finding the right room divider can be tricky. Ferma, however, provides a simple, customizable solution in the form of a modular system consisting of thin circular sections & connecting elements. The concept allows the user to construct the screen in an unlimited combination of sizes & shapes – from small to large. Though the construction is minimal, the structure is strong enough to support other furniture elements like shelving or a glass top. Great for defining spaces in contemporary & classic environments alike.

Even though my intentions are good, I’m guilty of being one of those people who takes the reusable grocery shopping bag only to never use it again! It usually ends up stuffed under sink or in a closet. This design aims to ensure the bag is reused in an entirely different way. It’s just rigid enough to carry your groceries home and then use it as a garbage bin. Stackable and available in a number of different colors, it’s an effortless way to reduce plastic consumption.
