A mash up of the two games that I love to play. The trailer was made as a way to give some lovin' to these awesome games. Made in blender in a timespan of 2 months since I got addicted to both games. XD I hope you guys enjoy!
For close to a decade now my family has been sticking with giving me holiday cards that occasionally have money, gift cards, or a personal check inside. It's hard to get much else for me, since I have more games, systems, etc. than I even know what to do with around this time of year. Besides, there have been bad experiences in the past, like the Christmas when I got both the Power Glove, and Fester's Quest for the NES. I had to awkwardly play with both for the rest of my winter break, pretending that I liked them just so my parents wouldn't feel like they threw their money away. But hey, it's the thought that counts, and I was lucky enough to get generous gifts like that on occasion.
Since it is technically the last weekday before Christmas how about we take a moment to give back some more to you guys and gals, aka our loyal readers. Right now I've got a mix of codes for stuff like the Fallout:New Vegas PC DLC (bundled together), Lost Planet 2, 3DMark 11 Advanced, Tropico 4, and even a Dota 2 Steam gift or two. I'll ask the others on staff if they've got goodies to give away, if so we'll add to the list. Just leave a comment for us which reveals your own most memorable gaming gift, along with the item(s) you are most interested in, and we'll do a draw on Monday (unless I can squeeze in time on Christmas)!
You can check out the Twisted Metal Mr.Grimm trailer for yourself, which shows very brief glimpses of Grimm's past. I didn't find it or the Grimm character offensive at all, but what do I know? I'm just your typical basement-dwelling white dude. Jaffe's rant can be seen below, which eventually leads to his claim that he doesn't want your money if you're a racist. Instead he states that he'll give his cut of the Twisted Metal profits away to charity if he gets wind that you bought his game and have any bit of racism in your heart.
Considering that this is all on the internet it totally wouldn't surprise me if trolls start telling Jaffe that they're a racist just for the lulz after buying his game. Charity wins.

Despite their difficult task of learnin us good, everyone at some point has a teacher they dislike. Most however don't dislike their teacher as much as Viktor hates his professor who stole credit for his invention (of Blitzcrank). This mad scientist is now looking for revenge on the field of justice with some mean looking abilities.
Here is a video for you to get some more idea about how he plays since the official Champion Spotlight isn't out yet.
Still in my quest to mod Skyrim into an even further form of perfection, here are two Skyrim mods that I ran across and thought that they are worth keeping an eye on. Both mods here do require the Skyrim Script Extender.
I don't think there are a lot of readers here who game exclusively on their Mac, but maybe your girlfriend does, and you're trying to show her how cool games are outside of Facebook? Well here is an opportunity. Bioshock 2 is being ported to run on Mac OSX, and will be available come January.
Feral Interactive will be the ones doing the porting. They've also done ports for Mafia 2, Bioshock, and Batman: Arkham Asylum. Look for it in the Mac App Store, or through other digital distribution partners.

On top of the sales, Valve also has a contest designed to entice you to purchase additional games. Will their cunning ruse work? Here are today’s objectives for Steam’s The Great Gift Pile Contest below.
By the way, a reader posted a link to this wiki about The Great Gift Pile Contest and its objectives. It looks like they’ve been correct about the objectives so far. It might be of some use to those of you interested in the contest.
So, do any of today's deals look good?

So I've been playing some of the Dota 2 Beta as well lately, and even though I started out playing the original Dota way-back-when, I am at an early record of 3 wins to 9 losses, not including my losses to bots in private bot games. I spent the evening on Monday playing League of Legends with my brother in law (who doesn't have access to Dota 2 yet), and I think I figured it out; even when I try to be careful, I usually end up playing with the same reckless aggression I would in an FPS. In almost any FPS action game, I'll be able to make it into the top few slots on the server, but my deaths will sometimes be up to double that of other players. When Leage of Legends Dominion came out, I found this was the perfect venue for this play style.
I will consistently come in as one of the top three slots on the team, often the number one score spot, but end up with 15-20 deaths. Obviously this doesn't work when playing regular old summoner's rift, or Dota 2, which is even more punishing for giving up kills. Besides the obvious answer of 'you're doing it wrong' what are some good heroes that are more forgiving for aggressive players? So far I think my overall favorite is the Drow Ranger; I can be in the action without putting myself at as much risk.
Christmas is only a couple of days out, so Merry Christmas and happy holidays all! I think I am going to use some of my time off to absolutely gorge myself on all of the games I haven't had a chance to play this year, and finish up a lot of loose ends for games I've never finished. I want a clean slate once Diablo III launches sometime next year. How about you? How are you guys going to be spending your surplus holiday free time this year?
Aside from games, I discovered my roommate has never seen Arrested Development, so we've begun the journey through my DVD set to fix that grievance. And if you haven't heard, there will be 10 new episodes and a movie come 2013. Huzzah! Here's something to get you in the mood:
