By Mike Sharkey | PC News | Dec 20, 2011 8:48 AM | Comment

In August, Australia finally decided to lift its archaic ban on videogames classified as R18+. However, the nation's Classification Board also decided that certain games could still be banned if they were deemed to go above and beyond the mature content (read: violence, drug use, and sex) found in the R18+ category. The first game to be "refused classification" under the new rules? Starbreeze's Syndicate re-imagining. Read More »

By Leif Johnson | PC Previews | Dec 19, 2011 4:50 PM | Comment

In the TOR Diaries, we're chronicling our adventures leading up to our review. Follow along for our early impressions of the new mega-MMO.

Companions in Star Wars: The Old Republic? The idea originally struck me as ludicrous as developing deep relationships with a Warlock's Voidwalker in World of Warcraft or a Lore-master's raven in Lord of the Rings Online. But now, 24 levels in, it's clear that the companion system is one of the game's strongest points. Read More »
