Phew! Just finished a BF3 marathon. Was playing on and off and only got with platoon members for 5 games. M240 and C4 have been my WMDs. I have not won a lot sadly (goes for playing alone mostly), but my KDR stayed static (eh... not too happy about).

I am in 2nd place in my platoon for C4 kills and am close to the first dog tag and service star for it.

The person in 1st is the leader of the whole platoon, has 5 times the amount of playtime, and is only a few kills ahead of me.

I think that is a good start!

From this, you can conclude I run Support mostly, which I do.

I have the most kills with the M249 at 240+ kills and love it, but I may love the M240B more.

I have almost 80 with the M240B and it seems better to me.

I run the same attachments on both of them: a Holo Sight and Extended Mags, but I use the Bipod for Rush and the Foregrip for Conquest.

It is going well for me right now. If you want to try Support, I recommend this loadout of guns, and recommend trying out C4!

I use the MSR because it's my personal favorite by looks. Really no other reason, and the L118A and Barrett and maybe the AS50 are fine to0 for one-shots. I use stability because of the ability to perform a more accurate quickscope if I take too long to shoot, but again, this is preference. It also helps because I am not running Marksman Pro for the extra hold breath. The extended mags adds more ammo and all the other attachments are not really worth the trouble in my opinion.

 

The Mp9 can act as a primary smg. The extended mags add more rounds, and the mag size helps because of its high rate of fire. Its hipfire is good too. It has a pistol speed switch time too with a relatively fast reload.

 

Semtex can get me kills where a non-automatic weapon could not, and it also acts as a hit-marker like a Concussion or Flashbang grenade. The Tactical Insertion is for whenever I need it. If I get in a good spot by an objective, then I can put it down quick.

 

Sleight of Hand Pro makes me switch weapons faster to the Mp9 just in case it will be close quarters and the fast reload is always a bonus. Quickdraw is for quickscoping. Steady Aim will help if a guy comes on me quickly when I am sprinting or with the Mp9 if someone gets me from behind and I need to switch to the Mp9 quick to do a spray and pray hipfire. Also no-scoping is not too difficult as well when paired with this perk..

 

The pointstreaks, camos, and deathstreaks are 100% preference.

 

This makes the class universal for almost any gamemode and map.

 

These are my two cents. I recommend watching YouTube videos to learn. Tejbz and OpTic Predator (from the #1 CoD MLG Team) are two famous ones in the sniping community. They do commentaries and montages.

I started in 1999. My first system was a Gameboy Color. Pokemon Silver was the only only game I played when released the next year.

In 2003, I became a PC gaming hybrid playing the original Call of Duty and every main installment up until Call of Duty3 in 2005. At the same time my pokemon gaming experience expanded with Ruby, Firered, and then Emerald with the Gameboy Advance and later the Gameboy Advance SP.

My PC gaming went to Star Wars Battlefront 2 in 2006, a year after its release. I had also bought the Nintendo DS on its release, and later Pokemon Pearl in early 2007.

Now I started doing a lot of Runescape and Halo PC and my pokemon love was wearing thin. The next Call of Duty and Halo were coming out, so I decided to get an Xbox 360.

I stopped Nintendo mobile gaming and PC gaming to play Xbox 360 at the end of 2007 with Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3. I also got Gears of War.

Played these games offline through 2008. At the end of the year I got Gears of War 2, Fallout 3 and Call of Duty World at War and started Xbox LIVE at the beginning of next year.

In the summer of 2009, I did gamebattles 4v4 matches and ended up with a 10-10 flat record in Halo 3.

At the end of 2009, I got Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Halo 3: ODST. I also got Battlefield Bad Company 2 at the on release the next year.

When 2010 was coming to an end, I got Call of Duty Black Ops, Halo Reach and Fallout New Vegas. In the summer of 2011, I did Call of Duty Black Ops gamebattles.

For the end of 2011, I got Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3, and The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim. I also bought a used DSi XL and now do some old RPGs like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy.

 

So in nutshell, my biggest portable game franchise was Pokemon from 2000 to 2007. My biggest FPS franchise is Call of Duty from 2003-present. My favorite game is probably Fallout 3 due to it being the best of both worlds for me: RPG and FPS combined.

Currently, I do Battlefield 3 with my platoon. I may do Modern Warfare 3 GameBattles this year. I have a little above a flat K/D and do a lot of sniping. I may return to Gears of War 3 for fun, but probably not at GameBattles or clan level. Skyrim is keeping me occupied from all the competition currently, but after overplaying it in a week, I think I'll be going back to some shooters to start the year.
