Famed rapper Heavy D, leader of the groundbreaking hip-hop group Heavy D & the Boyz, has passed away at the age of 44.
TMZ is reporting the story which broke just today. Heavy D -- real name Dwight Arrington Myers -- was the voice behind such popular tracks as "Now That We Found Love," "Who's the Man" and "Somebody For Me." He also created the iconic theme song for the FOX sketch comedy show In Living Color.

The police are currently investigating the death, and so far, there are no signs of foul play. Cause of death is inconclusive at this time.
