How this says what it says can be taken in bad context. The information it states though might be important enough for people to look and see what is occuring around them.

We now live about 30 miles from Fresno . We are up in the Sierras and
Fresno is the first big town we encounter when we leave the mountains.

Fighter Wing's anti terrorism officer. John had a two-part presentation. First part was describing his job as the unit's anti-Terrorism officer. Pretty standard stuff.
The second part was information that will curl your hair. A Part-time
Air guardsman works as a checker at local Von's. Two women in full
Burkas buy every pre-paid cell phone in the store. Clerk/airman gets
to thinking about it. Goes to Cotter and reports incident. Cotter
asks store for surveillance video. It's scary enough that he contacts
Fresno FBI.
FBI investigates and determines these women have been doing this all over the Valley. Cell phones shipped through Canada to Iraq/Afghanistan where they become triggers for roadside bombs.

The F-16s out of Fresno fly CAP for west coast. As such they are the First line of defense so they have the US 's most sophisticated Air-to-air missiles. Foreign governments would like to get their hands on those missiles or at least learn how to build them. Also how many we have, etc.
Two spy groups are working on it, one based at Fashion Fair Mall (the F-16s take-off pattern) and one based at Sierra Vista Mall (the F-16s landing pattern).

Many people will wonder why on earth Israel would imprison palestinian women to begin with. The answer is these women are no Boy Scouts (or should that be Girl Guides?).
Below is a list of the fema e palestinian prisoners Israel has agreed to release as part of the deal. I have added more information on those on whom I was able to find some.

Iman Razawi, a 23-year-old mother of two from Nablus, was apprehended with a white bag which contained a four kilogram explosive device. After being arrested Razawi tried to throw the bag and escape, but she was immediately apprehended.

Israeli security forces thwarted a suicide bombing planned for Tel Aviv when they arrested a Palestinian hermaphrodite armed with a 15-kilogram bomb in the West Bank, Palestinian sources said.
Amal Juma’a, 32, is a hermpahrodite who goes by the name Ahmed, Palestinian Authority sources told Army Radio. The report said the terror attack was planned for Monday.

She att em pted several times to detonate herself at the crossing and, having been unsuccessful, was brought to questioning.
The arrested suicide bomber is Wafa Samir Ibrahim al-Bass, a resident of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, born in 1984. In her questioning, she admitted to being affiliated with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades (Fatah’s operative wing). She also stated that she had been dispatched by the organization’s infrastructure in the northern Gaza Strip to carry out a suicide bombing attack in an Israeli hospital, with the intention of killing Israeli civilians 2. In an interview granted to a Channel 10 reporter, Wafa al-Bass pointed out that ever since she was a little girl, her dream had been, and still was, to be a shahid (“martyr”) and die for Allah’s sake (Israeli TV’s Channel 10, June 20, 2005).

Some Russian women have ended up in Palestine because of circumstances worthy of a good adventure series. Such is the story of Irina Polishchuk, for example, who came to Israel in order to work in the world’s oldest profession. On the job itself, she met her future husband, a Palestinian by the name of Ibrahim Sarhana. It later turned out that Sarhana was a member of a terrorist group. That didn’t stop Irina, however. She not only chose to marry Sarhana and give birth to a child, but she also joined the same underground organization. The happy couple soon took part in a terrorist act by bringing a suicide bomber to t he town of Rishon LeZion.

Three Israelis were killed and dozens wounded in this suicide bombing on King George Street in Jerusalem (March 21, 2002).
The two females who led the suicide bomber to the attack site: Kahira Sa’adi and Sana’a Shahada.
Sana’a Shahada, 27, from the Kalandia refugee camp, confessed during her questioning that she had been involved with Sa’adi in the infiltration of the suicide bomber. Shahada also revealed that she had been the girlfriend and facilitator of Nasser Shawish, a senior PIJ operative from Jenin, who had recently been arrested by the security forces.
She admitted agreeing to his request that she infiltrate a suicide bomber into Jerusalem, revealing that they purchased a bouquet of flowers at the checkpoint at the city’s entrance, which bomber Hashaika held in order to blend in with the crowd on Mother’s Day. Furthermore, she stated that she walked 50 meters behind Sa’adi and Hashaika, because she was wearing traditional Arab garb and did not want to arouse suspicion.

Kahira Sa’adi, 26, from Al-Ram, is married and the mother of four children. She confessed during her questioning by the ISA that she had guided suicide bomber Muhammad Hashaika to Jerusalem. Sa’adi stated that Abdel Karim Ouweis, a senior Fatah operative in the West Bank who was arrested during operation Defensive Shield and whom she met in the Jenin refugee camp, asked her to exploit her western appearance to infiltrate a suicide bomber into Jerusalem. In addition, she confessed that after the King George attack she agreed to infiltrate another suicide bomber with a bigger bomb.
21. Jiwasi Ziyad Dawa’a
Three Israelis were killed and 59 wounded in this suicide bombing of a Netanya marketplace (May 19, 2002).
The woman who led the suicide bomber to the attack site: Da’a Jiusi.
Da’a Jiusi, a 21-year-old student from Tulkarm, confessed during her ISA questioning that she had been asked by PFLP operatives from Nablus to guide the suicide bomber to the attack. Jiusi also stated that her controller had asked her if she would be willing to perpetrate the attack her self. She refused to sacrifice herself, but agreed to participate in the attack. She told her controller that she was familiar with Netanya, and especially its beach, which she would often visit before the intifada. Jiusi was asked to accompany the suicide bomber to the target and provide cover as an innocent-lookng couple.
On the day of the attack Jiusi entered the city wearing a tight white shirt and tight pants, as well as sunglasses. She carried a brown purse and her hair was tied with a ribbon. She further confessed that, prior to deciding to carry out the attack in the market, they had explored other options, such as the Netanya mall or the promenade area. Upon arriving at the entrance to the market, Jiusi exited the taxi and scanned the area on foot. She then returned, asked the driver to wait, and led the suicide bomber into the market. Jiusi asked the bomber to wait approximately five minutes before detonating the bomb he carried in his bag, so she could get away in the cab. Jiusi returned to the taxi and a few minutes later the explosion occurred.

Rima Daraghmeh intended to carry out a suicide bombing and was caught with the explosives at home. She was also involved in enlisting the woman who carried out a suicide bombing in Afula in 2003
23. Latifa Muhammad Abu Dara’a – Nablus – 2003 – released
Early yesterday morning the suicide bomber, Suliman Abu Awis, a 20-year old resident o f Balata refugee camp, and his accomplice Zaber Abu Saris, a 37-year old father of seven from Nablus, left Balata in order to carry out a suicide bombing. They were accompanied by Latifa Abu Dara, a 40-year old resident of Nablus and mother of seven. The woman accompanied the pair to create the impression that the suicide bomber was innocent and to facilitate easy passage to the target in Israel. This was based on the assumption of their dispatchers that women are less thoroughly checked.
The suicide bomber and his accomplice traveled in one vehicle, while Latifa drove a separate vehicle carrying a bag with an 8-kilogram explosive belt, which was intended for the suicide bomber. Later that day, Latifa who walked before the two, opened a path for the bomber and his counterpart, allowing them to pass through checkpoints. In the area of Kafr Kasem, Latifa placed the explosive belt on the bomber and then returned to Nablus
24. Tamimi Aref Ahmad Ahlam
A 20-year-old student and journalist, originally from Jordan, Ahlam Tamimi has resided in Ramallah since 1998. In addition to leading suicide bomber Izzadin Masri to the attack, Tamimi collected intelligence information about the site beforehand. During her questioning by the ISA (Israel Security Agency), she stated that she had carried a camera with her and spoke in English with the suicide bomber, who carried a guitar case with the bomb inside, in order to appear as a tourist.
In addition, Tamimi was responsible for placing a bomb concealed in a can of beer in a Jerusalem supermarket on June 30, 2001, shortly after she was recruited by Hamas. During her questioning she admitted being aware that “she might have died as a martyr.”

High school student Ofir Rahum, 16, was lured to his death on January 17, 2001.
The woman who seduced and lured the teenage boy to his death: Mona Awana.
Mona Awana, 26, is a Fatah operative from Bir Naballah near Ramallah. She was involved in the kidnapping and murder of Ofir Rahum, 16, on January 17, 2001. Awana, an academic and journalist, was responsible for proposing to her friend, Hassan al-Kadi, a Tanzim operative in Ramallah, to kidnap an Israeli after making contact with him on the Internet. Awana made contact with the boy over the Internet and lured him into meeting with her, after which she led him to the scene of his murder.

Kahira Sa’adi, 26, from Al-Ram, is married and the mother of four children. She confessed during her questioning by the ISA that she had guided suicide bomber Muhammad Hashaika to Jerusalem. Sa’adi stated that Abdel Karim Ouweis, a senior Fatah operative in the West Bank who was arrested during operation Defensive Shield and whom she met in the Jenin refugee camp, asked her to exploit her western appearance to infiltrate a suicide bomber into Jerusalem. In addition, she confessed that after the King George attack she agreed to infiltrate another suicide bomber with a bigger bomb.
21. Jiwasi Ziyad Dawa’a
Three Israelis were killed and 59 wounded in this suicide bombing of a Netanya marketplace (May 19, 2002).
The woman who led the suicide bomber to the attack site: Da’a Jiusi.
Da’a Jiusi, a 21-year-old student from Tulkarm, confessed during her ISA questioning that she had been asked by PFLP operatives from Nablus to guide the suicide bomber to the attack. Jiusi also stated that her controller had asked her if she would be willing to perpetrate the attack her self. She refused to sacrifice herself, but agreed to participate in the attack. She told her controller that she was familiar with Netanya, and especially its beach, which she would often visit before the intifada. Jiusi was asked to accompany the suicide bomber to the target and provide cover as an innocent-lookng couple.
On the day of the attack Jiusi entered the city wearing a tight white shirt and tight pants, as well as sunglasses. She carried a brown purse and her hair was tied with a ribbon. She further confessed that, prior to deciding to carry out the attack in the market, they had explored other options, such as the Netanya mall or the promenade area. Upon arriving at the entrance to the market, Jiusi exited the taxi and scanned the area on foot. She then returned, asked the driver to wait, and led the suicide bomber into the market. Jiusi asked the bomber to wait approximately five minutes before detonating the bomb he carried in his bag, so she could get away in the cab. Jiusi returned to the taxi and a few minutes later the explosion occurred.

Rima Daraghmeh intended to carry out a suicide bombing and was caught with the explosives at home. She was also involved in enlisting the woman who carried out a suicide bombing in Afula in 2003
23. Latifa Muhammad Abu Dara’a – Nablus – 2003 – released
Early yesterday morning the suicide bomber, Suliman Abu Awis, a 20-year old resident o f Balata refugee camp, and his accomplice Zaber Abu Saris, a 37-year old father of seven from Nablus, left Balata in order to carry out a suicide bombing. They were accompanied by Latifa Abu Dara, a 40-year old resident of Nablus and mother of seven. The woman accompanied the pair to create the impression that the suicide bomber was innocent and to facilitate easy passage to the target in Israel. This was based on the assumption of their dispatchers that women are less thoroughly checked.
The suicide bomber and his accomplice traveled in one vehicle, while Latifa drove a separate vehicle carrying a bag with an 8-kilogram explosive belt, which was intended for the suicide bomber. Later that day, Latifa who walked before the two, opened a path for the bomber and his counterpart, allowing them to pass through checkpoints. In the area of Kafr Kasem, Latifa placed the explosive belt on the bomber and then returned to Nablus
24. Tamimi Aref Ahmad Ahlam
A 20-year-old student and journalist, originally from Jordan, Ahlam Tamimi has resided in Ramallah since 1998. In addition to leading suicide bomber Izzadin Masri to the attack, Tamimi collected intelligence information about the site beforehand. During her questioning by the ISA (Israel Security Agency), she stated that she had carried a camera with her and spoke in English with the suicide bomber, who carried a guitar case with the bomb inside, in order to appear as a tourist.
In addition, Tamimi was responsible for placing a bomb concealed in a can of beer in a Jerusalem supermarket on June 30, 2001, shortly after she was recruited by Hamas. During her questioning she admitted being aware that “she might have died as a martyr.”

High school student Ofir Rahum, 16, was lured to his death on January 17, 2001.
The woman who seduced and lured the teenage boy to his death: Mona Awana.
Mona Awana, 26, is a Fatah operative from Bir Naballah near Ramallah. She was involved in the kidnapping and murder of Ofir Rahum, 16, on January 17, 2001. Awana, an academic and journalist, was responsible for proposing to her friend, Hassan al-Kadi, a Tanzim operative in Ramallah, to kidnap an Israeli after making contact with him on the Internet. Awana made contact with the boy over the Internet and lured him into meeting with her, after which she led him to the scene of his murder.

Qaddafi was not our friend and killed some Americans. However, as shown below, contrary to Obama, he had a caring side for his populace. Are these valid causes for his elimination by Western countries…at the insistence of Obama, who was removing him for the Moslem Brotherhood since Ghaddafi was not their friend either and stood in the way of Obama's and their Moslem Caliphate project. Adding insult to injury, Moslem students at a PRIVATE Catholic university are demanding a prayer location WITHOUT any Christian symbols since these offend them.
Is there ANY Moslem university, not just in the USA but anywhere in the world, which will accept Christians or Jewish students? Let alone provide them with symbol free places to pray?
A Moslem apologist on TV tried to say that all the Islamic universities in the USA are PRIVATELY owned thus exempt from such consideration or allow non-Moslem students to attend, but a private Catholic one SHOULD accomodate Moslem students just because they are Moslems and demand things!
Nowhere in our Constitution or laws is there anything that obligates a private university of any religious denomination to accomodate people not of their religion or even allow them in as students. Protects the Islamic ones BUT they demand to be the tail that wags the dog!
Why? Because they know that the whole Obama regime will support their baseless "victim" claims and demands.

IMPLEMENTATION PHASE OF OBAMA FORMAL DICTATORSHIP HAS BEGUN
The savagery by the "rebels" in Libya against Ghaddafi himself (sodomizing and executing him upon capture) and broad slaughter of his supporters and of indiscriminate non-Libyan emigrants from neighboring countries, specially blacks, could be presented as their being angry at this man and his past activities.
But ignores, however, who these rebels are and their fundemental Islamic foundation's contribution to the brutality. They are largely the worst of the worst Al Qaeda fanatical Islamist radicals!
You cannot tell me that with three very senior Moslem Brotherhood leaders, from which al Qaeda was born, operating out of the White House and pulling Obama's Moslem and anti-America strings that ObaHussein did not know who they were and what he was doing when he threw former buddy and supporter Ghaddafi under the bus to promote the Caliphate!
And that his publisher failed to inform him that the State Department had bought $70,000 worth of his ten-year old book! With him making thousands of dollars off our tax dollar purchase. Conflict of interest somewhere here?
This extremist mindset is part and parcel of Islam that is ONLY 17% a religion. and 83% a Social, Legal and Military IDEOLOGY, in so many ways similar to Communism, where instead of a Kommisar enforcing everything, we have an "Allah" doing the same thing.

And the Libyan "not a war" actions would plausibly make Obama an indictable War Criminal -like the leadership under the indicted and imprisoned Serbian/Bosnian military officers.
If you look at the number of lives lost, people tortured and misery created by Obama actions and policies, you will realize he has MORE BLOOD ON HIS HANDS than the Iranian Mulllahs, Ghaddafi and other so-called dictators he has helped overthrow to promote a Islamic global Caliphate PUT TOGETHER.
Each of them operated in a geographically limited area. He is responsible for rivers of blood shed around the world because of him, his actions and policies! "Leading from behind" does not absolve him of the cause and effect aspects of his mindsets and policies and life altering decisions.
Excusing him would be like blaming the KNIFE and not the person wielding it for the wounds or death the knife causes.
It was under Obama's direct encouragement and "leading from behind command" (hiding behind the Europeans) that the Libyan atrocities happened. He bears the same level of responsibility for his war crimes as the Serbians for theirs.

Alliance Against America: Al Qaeda and Iran
Obama's strong ties and support of Islamic Iran is possibly treasonous, if not, certainly treacherous!
Iran (Shia) and Al Qaeda (Sunni) seem like unlikely bedfellows given the Shia-Sunni divide that often exists in Islamic society. This divide, however, has not precluded cooperation in certain conditions, as the two have found "common cause in their mutual hatred of America; both can see the virtue in having more anti-U.S. violence, whatever the source."
Iran has collaborated with Al Qaeda covertly and often by proxy due to the latter's notorious reputation. This covert cooperation began in the early 1990's in Sudan, continued after Al Qaeda relocated to Afghanistan, and even manifested itself on Iranian soil before, during, and after the September 11 attacks. Although such cooperation has been known by authorities, for the first time in July 2011 the U.S. formally accused Iran of forging an alliance with Al-Qaeda that includes harboring Al-Qaeda operatives on Iranian territory and helping Al-Qaeda transit money, weapons and fighters.
This Alliance Against America between the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism and the most infamous international terrorist group is a formidable and menacing threat to American interests.

1992-1996
Origins: Iran, Al Qaeda and Hezbollah
Ties between Iran and Al Qaeda began in the early 1990's when Hasan Al Turabi and Osama Bin Laden (pictured) met in Sudan.
Iran - Al Qaeda links are not new. Ties between the two were initiated in the early 1990's when Hasan Al-Turabi, the leader of Sudan's National Islamic Front, began to encourage Sunni-Shia reconciliation in order to defeat the common enemy, namely America and its allies. According to the U.S. court record for the 1998 U.S embassy bombings, Osama was living in Khartoum when the Sudanese religious scholar Ahmed Abdel Rahman Hamadabi brought Sheikh Nomani, representing the Iranian Shias, to meet the Al Qaeda leadership. Sheikh Nomani "had access to the highest echelons of power in Tehran."
As a result of this meeting, "Iran and Al Qaeda reached an informal agreement to cooperate, with Iran providing critical explosives, intelligence, and security training to bin Laden's organization." This meeting was the first in a series of meetings between Iran and Al Qaeda.
The 9/11 Commission Report has a section devoted exclusively towards investigating Iranian ties to Al Qaeda entitled, "Assistance from Hezbollah and Iran to Al Qaeda." The report states that shortly after these meetings in Sudan in late 1991 or 1992, "senior Al Qaeda operatives and trainers traveled to Iran to receive training in explosives. In the fall of 1993, another such delegation went to the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon for further training in explosives as well as in intelligence and security.
Bin Laden reportedly showed particular interest in learning how to use truck bombs such as the one that had killed 241 U.S. Marines in Lebanon in 1983. The relationship between Al Qaeda and Iran demonstrated that Sunni-Shia divisions did not necessarily pose an insurmountable barrier to cooperation in terrorist operations."
Hezbollah, founded in 1982 at the behest of the IRGC, has acted as a key intermediary between Iran and Al Qaeda
Iran and Hezbollah function in a patron-client relationship. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) supported Hezbollah operationally and financially amidst the turmoil of the Lebanese Civil War in the early 1980's, enabling it to develop into a deadly and proficient organization. Creating and maintaining Hezbollah was not only useful to export the Islamic Republic's revolutionary ideology; it also provided Iran a convenient terrorist proxy through which Iran could operate with impunity.
As such, Iran was able to limit the risks of cooperating with Al Qaeda directly by engaging Al Qaeda through Hezbollah. After the Khartoum meeting with Sheihk Nomani, "Iran consulted Hezbollah and Al Qaeda was invited to send a contingent to Lebanon." Not only did Al Qaeda come out of Lebanon with "training and propaganda videos," it also received "a large amount of explosives from Iran that were used in the bombing of the East African targets."
Additionally, it was Imad Mugniyeh (Hezbollah's recently assassinated military chief) "who inspired Osama to develop coordinated, simultaneous attacks as a regular modus operandi, and this has been the hallmark of most subsequent Al Qaeda operations." And even more, "Both Hezbollah trainers and experts from Iran's Ministry of Information and Security trained Al Qaeda fighters in Sudan (in existing Al Qaeda facilities), Lebanon (in Hezbollah camps) and Iran (in officially run bases.)"
1996-2000
Consolidation: Iran Strengthens Ties with Al Qaeda in Afghanistan

After Al-Qaeda's banishment from Sudan in response to its unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and its subsequent relocation to Afghanistan in 1996, Iran continued to provide assistance Al-Qaeda with assistance.
Iran facilitated travel for Al-Qaeda fighters through Iran to Afghanistan and "Iranian border guards were instructed not to stamp their passports, presumably to prevent their home governments from suspecting that they had traveled to Afghanistan." As evidence of this burgeoning relationship, it is reported that between 1996 and 1998, nearly 10 percent of Osama Bin Laden's outgoing calls were to Iran.
Iran was eager to cooperate with Al Qaeda, although Osama bin Laden was somewhat reluctant. The 9/11 Commission Report states, "Intelligence indicates the persistence of contacts between Iranian security officials and senior Al-Qaeda figures after Bin Laden's return to Afghanistan… Iran made a concerted effort to strengthen relations with Al Qaeda after the October 2000 attack on the USS Cole, but was rebuffed because Bin Laden did not want to alienate his supporters in Saudi Arabia."
U.S authorities were well aware of this relationship at the time. The 9/11 Commission Report states, "On November 4, 1998, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York unsealed its indictment of bin Laden, charging him with conspiracy to attack U.S. defense installations. The indictment also charged that Al-Qaeda had allied itself with Sudan, Iran, and Hezbollah."
2001
A Dark Day: Iran's Role in the September 11 Attacks
On September 11, 2001, terrorists hijacked four commercial airliners, intentionally crashing two into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York and one into the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. The fourth plane crashed in a field in rural Pennsylvania. Nearly 3000 victims were murdered. Authorities quickly traced the attacks to Al Qaeda.
The 9/11 Commission Report states that “there is strong evidence that Iran facilitated the transit of Al Qaeda members into and out of Afghanistan before 9/11.” New evidence from defectors of Iran’s intelligence service suggests Iran had an even more direct role in the attacks.
The 9/11 Commission's chapter, "Assistance from Hezbollah and Iran to Al Qaeda," documents Iran's facilitation of transit for Al Qaeda members from 2000-2001. After listing various examples, the report states, "In sum, there is strong evidence that Iran facilitated the transit of Al Qaeda members into and out of Afghanistan before 9/11, and that some of these were future 9/11 hijackers. There is also circumstantial evidence that senior Hezbollah operatives were closely tracking the travel of some of these future muscle hijackers into Iran in November 2000."
At the same time, the report asserts, "We have found no evidence that Iran or Hezbollah was aware of the planning for what later became the 9/11 attack…We believe this topic requires further investigation by the U.S. government."
Further investigation has indeed revealed evidence suggesting Iran was aware of the planning for 9/11. According to The New York Times, "two defectors from Iran's intelligence service have testified that Iranian officials had ‘foreknowledge of the 9/11 attacks,'" and one of the defectors also "claimed that Iran was involved in planning the attacks."
Those defectors have been called as witnesses in a case brought by families of the victims of the September 11 attacks. "The court papers also include sworn statements from staff members of the 9/11 Commission, including Dietrich Snell, a former top terrorism prosecutor at the Justice Department, who states in his affidavit that ‘there is clear and convincing evidence the government of Iran provided material support to Al Qaeda in the planning and execution of the 9/11 attack. He said the support came in the form of facilitating the travel of members of the 9/11 conspiracy to and from Afghanistan and Pakistan."
Suspected Iranian collaboration with Al Qaeda in planning or executing the September 11 attacks is a serious charge. Iran's complicity in this catastrophe must be properly investigated in light of Iran's past and current relationship with Al Qaeda. The current court case brought by families of the victims of the 9/11 attacks is a step in the right direction.
Escape from Afghanistan
Ayman al-Zawahiri’s (pictured) relationship with the Iranian leadership was instrumental in achieving safe harbor in Iran for Al Qaeda operatives during the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan.
After the launch of Operation Enduring Freedom in October 2001 in response to the September 11 attacks, it is common knowledge that many members of Al-Qaeda, including Osama bin Laden, fled to the lawless Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Western Pakistan.
What is less known is that key elements of Al-Qaeda also escaped to Iran, in some cases with assistance from Iranian authorities.
For example in 2003, The Washington Post reported on a "decade-old relationship" between Ayman al-Zawahiri, then Al-Qaeda's second-in-command, and Ahmad Vahidi, Iran's current Minister of Defense.
In 2001, Vahidi, then commander of the IRGC's elite Quds Force, reportedly provided "safe harbor for some Al Qaeda leaders who were trapped in the mountains of Tora Bora" following negotiations with al-Zawahiri. According to a European intelligence analyst, "The [Quds] Force's senior leaders have longstanding ties to Al Qaeda, and since the fall of Afghanistan, have provided some Al Qaeda leaders with travel documents and safe haven."
Under such arrangements, key members of Al Qaeda's operational structure came to reside in Iran, including such infamous figures as Saif al-Adel (Security Chief), Sa'ad bin Laden (Osama's son, Senior Operative), Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah (CFO of AQ) and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi (then Chief of AQ in Iraq).
Nominally, Iran held these Al Qaeda operatives under "house arrest," but in reality, Al Qaeda was using Iran as a base of operations under the protection of the Quds Force. By providing Al Qaeda operatives such sanctuary, Iran has been in direct violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1390, which prohibits the harboring of Al Qaeda members.
Over the next decade, as a means to further its own regional goals, the Iranian regime would permit Al Qaeda use of its territory to plan terrorist attacks abroad as well as transit money, arms and fighters across the region.
2002-2010
Continuity: Iran's Covert Support for Al Qaeda Since 9/11
After the international community made the dissolution of Al Qaeda a top priority, Iran downplayed its ties to the organization and at times portrayed itself as Al Qaeda's enemy. However, according to Matthew Levitt and Michael Jacobson, analysts at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, "this seemingly tough stance served as cover for Tehran's ongoing dealings with the organization; the regime's support for Al Qaeda continued throughout this period."
In 2010, General David Petraeus, as Commander of U.S. Central Command, reported that Al Qaeda "continues to use Iran as a key facilitation hub, where facilitators connect Al Qaeda's senior leadership to regional affiliates."
Iran's Harboring of Al Qaeda
Since 2001, Iran has harbored key Al Qaeda operatives.
In its 2007 "Country Reports on Terrorism," the U.S. State Department wrote that "Iran remained unwilling to bring to justice senior Al Qaida members it has detained, and has refused to publicly identify those senior members in its custody. Iran has repeatedly resisted numerous calls to transfer custody of its AQ detainees to their countries of origin or third countries for interrogation or trial. Iran also continued to fail to control the activities of some AQ members who fled to Iran following the fall of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan."
In January 2009, the U.S. Treasury Department froze the assets of four key Al Qaeda operatives based in Iran, including Osama's eldest son Sa'ad bin Laden. Regarding the action, Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Stuart Levey stated, "It is important that Iran give a public accounting of how it is meeting its international obligations to constrain al Qaeda."
In fact, as reported as far back as 2003, since Sa'ad's "arrival in Iran… he has assumed a more active role in directing al Qaeda, and he has been identified as a senior leader." It is believed that Iran allowed Sa'ad to relocate to Pakistan in late 2008.
Saif al-Adel (pictured), the alleged Al Qaeda mastermind of the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings, is reportedly based in Iran.
In March 2010, Al Qaeda assisted Iran in negotiating the return of an Iranian diplomat who had been held captive by the Taliban in Pakistan for 15 months. This incident pointed to another dangerous sign of increased Iran-Al Qaeda collaboration. In return for its help, Iran provided Al Qaeda operatives based in its territory greater freedom of movement and loosened restrictions.
As one example, Al Qaeda's chief military strategist that lives in Iran, Saif al-Adel, was allowed to travel to Pakistan and open more contacts with other Al Qaeda leaders. Remaining in Iran while possessing the freedom to travel "suggests that al-Adel and perhaps lower level Al-Qaeda figures now consider Iran a viable outpost, with fewer restrictions…" Furthermore, the "apparent easing of Iran's restrictions on Al Qaeda… now opens up speculation that al-Adel could establish a ‘satellite office' for the group in Iran."
Terrorist Operations
From its Iranian safe haven, Al Qaeda members have planned terrorist operations that have killed dozens of people, including Americans.
Aftermath of the 2003 Riyadh compound bombings (pictured), reportedly planned and ordered by Al Qaeada operatives in Iran. 35 people died in the attack, including 8 Americans.
For example, on May 12, 2003, Al Qaeda commandos attacked residential compounds housing foreign workers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, killing 35 people, including 8 Americans. The attacks were reportedly planned and ordered by Al Qaeda operatives in Iran, specifically Saif al-Adel and Sa'ad bin Laden. Through the UN, the U.S. conveyed its "deep concern that individuals associated with Al Qaeda have planned and directed the attack in Saudi Arabia from inside Iran."
According to intelligence sources, Sa'ad was also involved in planning the April 11, 2002 suicide bombing of a Tunisian synagogue on April 11, 2002 that left 21 dead.
An intercepted letter reportedly sent to the IRGC in 2008 by Ayman al Zawahiri, Al Qaeda's current leader, revealed an even deeper relationship between Iran and Al Qaeda than previously thought.
The correspondence was sent after the September 19, 2008 attacks on the American embassy in Sana'a, Yemen, which killed 19 people. The Daily Telegraph states, "In the letter, Al-Qaeda's leadership pays tribute to Iran's generosity, stating that without its ‘monetary and infrastructure assistance' it would have not been possible for the group to carry out the terror attacks. It also thanked Iran for having the ‘vision' to help the terror organization establish new bases in Yemen after Al-Qaeda was forced to abandon much of its terrorist infrastructure in Iraq and Saudi Arabia."
Al Qaeda in Iraq
Iran’s safe harbor for Abu Musab al-Zarqawi (pictured) gave him the opportunity to set up Al Qaeda in Iraq.
Following the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan, Iran also provided safe haven to Al Qaeda operative Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who went on to establish Al Qaeda in Iraq, an Al Qaeda offshoot that went on to kill untold numbers of Iraqis and Americans.
Zarqawi initially operated under the protection of the IRGC and its elite Quds Brigade. According to intelligence officials, the time Zarqawi spent in Iran was crucial for rebuilding his network before relocating to Iraq. While the Iranian regime eventually succumbed to U.S. pressure, forcing Zarqawi to leave Iran and arresting many of his personnel, the damage had already been done: Zarqawi's network was already rebuilt, even though the Iranian authorities could have prevented such an outcome at any time.
Iran's support for Zarqawi and other Al Qaeda leaders belies the assumption made by individuals in the intelligence community that Iran's arrest and deportation of Al Qaeda members underscored Iran's cooperation in the U.S.'s War on Terror. In the words of terrorism analyst Thomas Joscelyn, "Iran's behavior can be explained by way of analogy. Like a corrupt cop in league with the mob, the Iranians have been willing to clamp down and turn over small-time operatives, while allowing bigger players to operate with impunity." Iran provided Zarqawi with such operational impunity.
Joint Operations
Iran reportedly brokered an arms deal between North Korea and Gulbuddin Hekmatyar (pictured), an Afghan militant leader affiliated with Al Qaeda.
Recently leaked documents from U.S. military intelligence "outline Iran's alleged role in brokering arms deals between North Korea and Pakistan-based militants, particularly militant leader Gulbuddin Hekmatyar and Al Qaeda."
In this deal, Hekmatyar reportedly departed from Iran to North Korea in 2005 "to close a deal with the North Korean government to obtain remote-controlled rockets to use against coalition aircraft in Afghanistan." Further intelligence reports revealed a 2006 "Al Qaeda-Hekmatyar plot to equip suicide bombers and car bombs to attack Afghan government and international targets - using cars and equipment obtained in Iran."
And lastly, an April2007 report detailed an operation in which "Al Qaeda, ‘helped by Iran,' bought 72 air-to-air missiles from Algeria and hid them in Zahedan, Iran, in order to later smuggle them into Afghanistan."
2011
Recognition: U.S. Acknowledges Iran-Al Qaeda Alliance
While the relationship between the Iran and Al Qaeda has long been pubic knowledge, until recently the U.S. government had hesitated to formally link the two entities. This changed on July 28, 2011, when "the U.S. for the first time formally accused Iran of forging an alliance with Al Qaeda in a pact that allows the terrorist group to use Iranian soil as a transit point for moving money, arms and fighters to its bases in Pakistan and Afghanistan."
The Treasury Department has evidence of an extensive fund-raising operation that draws from donors in Persian Gulf countries such as Kuwait and Qatar and uses Iran-based Al Qaeda operatives. Six Al Qaeda members were sanctioned for overseeing this network, headed by Syrian national Ezedin Abdul Aziz Khalil.
The Treasury designation is particularly notable because it accuses Iran of being "an important link in Al Qaeda's financing and recruitment." It also states that the relationship dates back to 2005.
David Cohen, the Treasury Department's Undersecretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence said, "By exposing Iran's secret deal with Al Qaeda allowing it to funnel funds and operatives through its territory, we are illuminating yet another aspect of Iran's unmatched support for terrorism."
Conclusion: A Long-Standing Alliance Against America
Beginning in the early 1990's, Iran and Al Qaeda initiated their Alliance Against America - a partnership that would only intensify over time. Prior to the September 11 attacks, Iran, primarily through its proxy Hezbollah, provided Al Qaeda critical training, explosives and logistical support. Such support culminated in Iran facilitating the transit of some of the 9/11 hijackers through its territory.
Following the September 11 attacks, Iran portrayed itself as an enemy of Al Qaeda, but in reality their relationship became even more deeply rooted. The Iranian regime, via the IRGC's elite Quds Force, provided key members of Al Qaeda's leadership safe haven in Iran to continue their terrorist operations and avoid arrest by international authorities. Some Al Qaeda operatives continue to reside in Iran.
With formal U.S. recognition in July 2011 that Iran has forged an alliance with Al Qaeda, it is time that the U.S. government and its citizens recognize this Alliance Against America and demand that the Iranian regime stop providing sanctuary to one of America and the international community's deadliest foes.
Al Qaeda Leaders That Have Resided/Traveled in Iran
Name: Ayman al-Zawahiri
Position: Head of Al Qaeda
Connection: Zawahiri, the current leader of Al Qaeda, has long maintained ties to Iran. Throughout the 1990's, as the leader of Egyptian Islamic Jihad, Zawahiri was a frequent guest in Iran of Ali Fallahian, Iran's then-Minister of Intelligence, and Ahmad Vahidi, then-head of the IRGC's Quds Force. In 2003, The Washington Post reported on this "decade-old relationship" between Zawahiri and Vahidi, who had since become Iran's Minister of Defense. Zawahiri's relationship with Vahidi was reportedly instrumental in achieving safe harbor for Al Qaeda operatives seeking sanctuary from the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan in 2001.
Name: Saif al-Adel
Position: Chief of Military Operations of Al Qaeda
Connection: Saif al-Adel disappeared after 9/11 and later re-emerged in Iran with other leading Al Qaeda members under the protections of the Quds Force. From Iran, al-Adel masterminded terrorist attacks abroad. In 2010, al-Adel and other Al Qaeda operatives based in Iran were provided greater freedom of movement and loosened restrictions in return for the release of an Iranian diplomat from Taliban custody. While al-Adel used these new freedoms to travel to Pakistan, he has reportedly remained in Iran to oversee Al Qaeda operations.

Position: Senior Al Qaeda Operative, Terrorist Operations Planner
Connection: Under the auspices of the Quds Force, Saad reportedly fled to Iran to escape the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan. As of 2008, the U.S. government believes Saad may have relocated to Pakistan with the agreement of Iran.

Alliance Against America: Al Qaeda and Iran
Obama's strong ties and support of Islamic Iran is possibly treasonous, if not, certainly treacherous!
Iran (Shia) and Al Qaeda (Sunni) seem like unlikely bedfellows given the Shia-Sunni divide that often exists in Islamic society. This divide, however, has not precluded cooperation in certain conditions, as the two have found "common cause in their mutual hatred of America; both can see the virtue in having more anti-U.S. violence, whatever the source."
Iran has collaborated with Al Qaeda covertly and often by proxy due to the latter's notorious reputation. This covert cooperation began in the early 1990's in Sudan, continued after Al Qaeda relocated to Afghanistan, and even manifested itself on Iranian soil before, during, and after the September 11 attacks. Although such cooperation has been known by authorities, for the first time in July 2011 the U.S. formally accused Iran of forging an alliance with Al-Qaeda that includes harboring Al-Qaeda operatives on Iranian territory and helping Al-Qaeda transit money, weapons and fighters.
This Alliance Against America between the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism and the most infamous international terrorist group is a formidable and menacing threat to American interests.

1992-1996
Origins: Iran, Al Qaeda and Hezbollah
Ties between Iran and Al Qaeda began in the early 1990's when Hasan Al Turabi and Osama Bin Laden (pictured) met in Sudan.
Iran - Al Qaeda links are not new. Ties between the two were initiated in the early 1990's when Hasan Al-Turabi, the leader of Sudan's National Islamic Front, began to encourage Sunni-Shia reconciliation in order to defeat the common enemy, namely America and its allies. According to the U.S. court record for the 1998 U.S embassy bombings, Osama was living in Khartoum when the Sudanese religious scholar Ahmed Abdel Rahman Hamadabi brought Sheikh Nomani, representing the Iranian Shias, to meet the Al Qaeda leadership. Sheikh Nomani "had access to the highest echelons of power in Tehran."
As a result of this meeting, "Iran and Al Qaeda reached an informal agreement to cooperate, with Iran providing critical explosives, intelligence, and security training to bin Laden's organization." This meeting was the first in a series of meetings between Iran and Al Qaeda.
The 9/11 Commission Report has a section devoted exclusively towards investigating Iranian ties to Al Qaeda entitled, "Assistance from Hezbollah and Iran to Al Qaeda." The report states that shortly after these meetings in Sudan in late 1991 or 1992, "senior Al Qaeda operatives and trainers traveled to Iran to receive training in explosives. In the fall of 1993, another such delegation went to the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon for further training in explosives as well as in intelligence and security.
Bin Laden reportedly showed particular interest in learning how to use truck bombs such as the one that had killed 241 U.S. Marines in Lebanon in 1983. The relationship between Al Qaeda and Iran demonstrated that Sunni-Shia divisions did not necessarily pose an insurmountable barrier to cooperation in terrorist operations."
Hezbollah, founded in 1982 at the behest of the IRGC, has acted as a key intermediary between Iran and Al Qaeda
Iran and Hezbollah function in a patron-client relationship. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) supported Hezbollah operationally and financially amidst the turmoil of the Lebanese Civil War in the early 1980's, enabling it to develop into a deadly and proficient organization. Creating and maintaining Hezbollah was not only useful to export the Islamic Republic's revolutionary ideology; it also provided Iran a convenient terrorist proxy through which Iran could operate with impunity.
As such, Iran was able to limit the risks of cooperating with Al Qaeda directly by engaging Al Qaeda through Hezbollah. After the Khartoum meeting with Sheihk Nomani, "Iran consulted Hezbollah and Al Qaeda was invited to send a contingent to Lebanon." Not only did Al Qaeda come out of Lebanon with "training and propaganda videos," it also received "a large amount of explosives from Iran that were used in the bombing of the East African targets."
Additionally, it was Imad Mugniyeh (Hezbollah's recently assassinated military chief) "who inspired Osama to develop coordinated, simultaneous attacks as a regular modus operandi, and this has been the hallmark of most subsequent Al Qaeda operations." And even more, "Both Hezbollah trainers and experts from Iran's Ministry of Information and Security trained Al Qaeda fighters in Sudan (in existing Al Qaeda facilities), Lebanon (in Hezbollah camps) and Iran (in officially run bases.)"
1996-2000
Consolidation: Iran Strengthens Ties with Al Qaeda in Afghanistan
Following the bombing of the USS Cole (pictured) in 2000, Iran attempted to strengthen its relations with Al Qaeda.
After Al-Qaeda's banishment from Sudan in response to its unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and its subsequent relocation to Afghanistan in 1996, Iran continued to provide assistance Al-Qaeda with assistance.
Iran was eager to cooperate with Al Qaeda, although Osama bin Laden was somewhat reluctant. The 9/11 Commission Report states, "Intelligence indicates the persistence of contacts between Iranian security officials and senior Al-Qaeda figures after Bin Laden's return to Afghanistan… Iran made a concerted effort to strengthen relations with Al Qaeda after the October 2000 attack on the USS Cole, but was rebuffed because Bin Laden did not want to alienate his supporters in Saudi Arabia."
U.S authorities were well aware of this relationship at the time. The 9/11 Commission Report states, "On November 4, 1998, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York unsealed its indictment of bin Laden, charging him with conspiracy to attack U.S. defense installations. The indictment also charged that Al-Qaeda had allied itself with Sudan, Iran, and Hezbollah."
2001
A Dark Day: Iran's Role in the September 11 Attacks
On September 11, 2001, terrorists hijacked four commercial airliners, intentionally crashing two into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York and one into the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. The fourth plane crashed in a field in rural Pennsylvania. Nearly 3000 victims were murdered. Authorities quickly traced the attacks to Al Qaeda.
The 9/11 Commission Report states that “there is strong evidence that Iran facilitated the transit of Al Qaeda members into and out of Afghanistan before 9/11.” New evidence from defectors of Iran’s intelligence service suggests Iran had an even more direct role in the attacks.
The 9/11 Commission's chapter, "Assistance from Hezbollah and Iran to Al Qaeda," documents Iran's facilitation of transit for Al Qaeda members from 2000-2001. After listing various examples, the report states, "In sum, there is strong evidence that Iran facilitated the transit of Al Qaeda members into and out of Afghanistan before 9/11, and that some of these were future 9/11 hijackers. There is also circumstantial evidence that senior Hezbollah operatives were closely tracking the travel of some of these future muscle hijackers into Iran in November 2000."
At the same time, the report asserts, "We have found no evidence that Iran or Hezbollah was aware of the planning for what later became the 9/11 attack…We believe this topic requires further investigation by the U.S. government."
Further investigation has indeed revealed evidence suggesting Iran was aware of the planning for 9/11. According to The New York Times, "two defectors from Iran's intelligence service have testified that Iranian officials had ‘foreknowledge of the 9/11 attacks,'" and one of the defectors also "claimed that Iran was involved in planning the attacks."
Those defectors have been called as witnesses in a case brought by families of the victims of the September 11 attacks. "The court papers also include sworn statements from staff members of the 9/11 Commission, including Dietrich Snell, a former top terrorism prosecutor at the Justice Department, who states in his affidavit that ‘there is clear and convincing evidence the government of Iran provided material support to Al Qaeda in the planning and execution of the 9/11 attack. He said the support came in the form of facilitating the travel of members of the 9/11 conspiracy to and from Afghanistan and Pakistan."
Suspected Iranian collaboration with Al Qaeda in planning or executing the September 11 attacks is a serious charge. Iran's complicity in this catastrophe must be properly investigated in light of Iran's past and current relationship with Al Qaeda. The current court case brought by families of the victims of the 9/11 attacks is a step in the right direction.
Escape from Afghanistan
After the launch of Operation Enduring Freedom in October 2001 in response to the September 11 attacks, it is common knowledge that many members of Al-Qaeda, including Osama bin Laden, fled to the lawless Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Western Pakistan.
What is less known is that key elements of Al-Qaeda also escaped to Iran, in some cases with assistance from Iranian authorities.
For example in 2003, The Washington Post reported on a "decade-old relationship" between Ayman al-Zawahiri, then Al-Qaeda's second-in-command, and Ahmad Vahidi, Iran's current Minister of Defense.
In 2001, Vahidi, then commander of the IRGC's elite Quds Force, reportedly provided "safe harbor for some Al Qaeda leaders who were trapped in the mountains of Tora Bora" following negotiations with al-Zawahiri. According to a European intelligence analyst, "The [Quds] Force's senior leaders have longstanding ties to Al Qaeda, and since the fall of Afghanistan, have provided some Al Qaeda leaders with travel documents and safe haven."
Under such arrangements, key members of Al Qaeda's operational structure came to reside in Iran, including such infamous figures as Saif al-Adel (Security Chief), Sa'ad bin Laden (Osama's son, Senior Operative), Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah (CFO of AQ) and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi (then Chief of AQ in Iraq).
Nominally, Iran held these Al Qaeda operatives under "house arrest," but in reality, Al Qaeda was using Iran as a base of operations under the protection of the Quds Force. By providing Al Qaeda operatives such sanctuary, Iran has been in direct violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1390, which prohibits the harboring of Al Qaeda members.
Over the next decade, as a means to further its own regional goals, the Iranian regime would permit Al Qaeda use of its territory to plan terrorist attacks abroad as well as transit money, arms and fighters across the region.
2002-2010
Continuity: Iran's Covert Support for Al Qaeda Since 9/11
After the international community made the dissolution of Al Qaeda a top priority, Iran downplayed its ties to the organization and at times portrayed itself as Al Qaeda's enemy. However, according to Matthew Levitt and Michael Jacobson, analysts at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, "this seemingly tough stance served as cover for Tehran's ongoing dealings with the organization; the regime's support for Al Qaeda continued throughout this period."
In 2010, General David Petraeus, as Commander of U.S. Central Command, reported that Al Qaeda "continues to use Iran as a key facilitation hub, where facilitators connect Al Qaeda's senior leadership to regional affiliates."
Iran's Harboring of Al Qaeda
Since 2001, Iran has harbored key Al Qaeda operatives.
In its 2007 "Country Reports on Terrorism," the U.S. State Department wrote that "Iran remained unwilling to bring to justice senior Al Qaida members it has detained, and has refused to publicly identify those senior members in its custody. Iran has repeatedly resisted numerous calls to transfer custody of its AQ detainees to their countries of origin or third countries for interrogation or trial. Iran also continued to fail to control the activities of some AQ members who fled to Iran following the fall of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan."
In January 2009, the U.S. Treasury Department froze the assets of four key Al Qaeda operatives based in Iran, including Osama's eldest son Sa'ad bin Laden. Regarding the action, Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Stuart Levey stated, "It is important that Iran give a public accounting of how it is meeting its international obligations to constrain al Qaeda."
In fact, as reported as far back as 2003, since Sa'ad's "arrival in Iran… he has assumed a more active role in directing al Qaeda, and he has been identified as a senior leader." It is believed that Iran allowed Sa'ad to relocate to Pakistan in late 2008.
Saif al-Adel (pictured), the alleged Al Qaeda mastermind of the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings, is reportedly based in Iran.
In March 2010, Al Qaeda assisted Iran in negotiating the return of an Iranian diplomat who had been held captive by the Taliban in Pakistan for 15 months. This incident pointed to another dangerous sign of increased Iran-Al Qaeda collaboration. In return for its help, Iran provided Al Qaeda operatives based in its territory greater freedom of movement and loosened restrictions.
As one example, Al Qaeda's chief military strategist that lives in Iran, Saif al-Adel, was allowed to travel to Pakistan and open more contacts with other Al Qaeda leaders. Remaining in Iran while possessing the freedom to travel "suggests that al-Adel and perhaps lower level Al-Qaeda figures now consider Iran a viable outpost, with fewer restrictions…" Furthermore, the "apparent easing of Iran's restrictions on Al Qaeda… now opens up speculation that al-Adel could establish a ‘satellite office' for the group in Iran."
Terrorist Operations
From its Iranian safe haven, Al Qaeda members have planned terrorist operations that have killed dozens of people, including Americans.
Aftermath of the 2003 Riyadh compound bombings (pictured), reportedly planned and ordered by Al Qaeada operatives in Iran. 35 people died in the attack, including 8 Americans.
For example, on May 12, 2003, Al Qaeda commandos attacked residential compounds housing foreign workers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, killing 35 people, including 8 Americans. The attacks were reportedly planned and ordered by Al Qaeda operatives in Iran, specifically Saif al-Adel and Sa'ad bin Laden. Through the UN, the U.S. conveyed its "deep concern that individuals associated with Al Qaeda have planned and directed the attack in Saudi Arabia from inside Iran."
According to intelligence sources, Sa'ad was also involved in planning the April 11, 2002 suicide bombing of a Tunisian synagogue on April 11, 2002 that left 21 dead.
An intercepted letter reportedly sent to the IRGC in 2008 by Ayman al Zawahiri, Al Qaeda's current leader, revealed an even deeper relationship between Iran and Al Qaeda than previously thought.
The correspondence was sent after the September 19, 2008 attacks on the American embassy in Sana'a, Yemen, which killed 19 people. The Daily Telegraph states, "In the letter, Al-Qaeda's leadership pays tribute to Iran's generosity, stating that without its ‘monetary and infrastructure assistance' it would have not been possible for the group to carry out the terror attacks. It also thanked Iran for having the ‘vision' to help the terror organization establish new bases in Yemen after Al-Qaeda was forced to abandon much of its terrorist infrastructure in Iraq and Saudi Arabia."

Following the September 11 attacks, Iran portrayed itself as an enemy of Al Qaeda, but in reality their relationship became even more deeply rooted. Position: Head of Al Qaeda
Connection: Zawahiri, the current leader of Al Qaeda, has long maintained ties to Iran. Throughout the 1990's, as the leader of Egyptian Islamic Jihad, Zawahiri was a frequent guest in Iran of Ali Fallahian, Iran's then-Minister of Intelligence, and Ahmad Vahidi, then-head of the IRGC's Quds Force. In 2003, The Washington Post reported on this "decade-old relationship" between Zawahiri and Vahidi, who had since become Iran's Minister of Defense. Zawahiri's relationship with Vahidi was reportedly instrumental in achieving safe harbor for Al Qaeda operatives seeking sanctuary from the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan in 2001.
Name: Saif al-Adel
Position: Chief of Military Operations of Al Qaeda
Connection: Saif al-Adel disappeared after 9/11 and later re-emerged in Iran with other leading Al Qaeda members under the protections of the Quds Force. From Iran, al-Adel masterminded terrorist attacks abroad. In 2010, al-Adel and other Al Qaeda operatives based in Iran were provided greater freedom of movement and loosened restrictions in return for the release of an Iranian diplomat from Taliban custody. While al-Adel used these new freedoms to travel to Pakistan, he has reportedly remained in Iran to oversee Al Qaeda operations.
Name: Saad Bin Laden
Position: Senior Al Qaeda Operative, Terrorist Operations Planner
Connection: Under the auspices of the Quds Force, Saad reportedly fled to Iran to escape the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan. In Iran, he assumed a more senior and active role in Al Qaeda, including planning terrorist operations abroad. As of 2008, the U.S. government believes Saad may have relocated to Pakistan with the agreement of Iran.
Name: Abu Musab al-Zarqawi (Deceased)
Position: Head of Al Qaeda in Iraq
Connection: Before going to lead Al Qaeda in Iraq, Iran provided safe haven to Zarqawi following the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan. Before being removed from the country, Zarqawi operated under the protection of the IRGC's Quds Force. The time Zarqawi spent in Iran was crucial for rebuilding his network before relocating to Iraq.

CONTRAST
For the last week we have been so inundated with the corrupt slime of the Obama administration to an extent where it was too much to truly stomach even by hardened observers like us.
He revises reality and history by scrubbing information from the Internet about himself to hide his crimes.
Now he has ordered ALL references to Islam scrubbed from ALL government documents dealing with terrorism!
And a co-conspiratorial Press helps hide the start of a Soviet style class revolt by Obama, in many ways similar to the Khomeini revolution, calling inexperienced but PAID youths and his Union thugs onto the streets, bodes so ill for our country that it may already be past the point of rescue!
Khomeini supporters did NOT simply pour into the streets as many imagine. He could barely raise mobs until he began giving each one a sandwich with the an Iranian currency buying power equivalent of a $10 bill included in the wrapping.
Interesting to note the Islamic Iranian regime has fielded crowds of hardline students into the streets in support of the similar Wall Street flash mobs around the USA encouraged and incited by Obama and the Democrat party leadership to destabilize the country and and provide an opportunity to eventually declare martial law and suspend elections and Constitutional rights we hold dear.
As Obama allies AND in tune with his efforts, moronic if not on purpose, to throw us into chaos and hand Iraq to Iran with his political not strategic troop withdrawal, they have consistently supported his fervent Islamic actions and policies.
And appreciating his hands-off stance on Syria where Iran is doing most of the killing with a huge contingent of their Suppression forces they sent to help Bashir al-Assad.
We also still have to earn a living and have been busy, in this failing economy, puttting food on our own table, while we still can. And sensing the sadness increasingly EMANATING from Americans nationwide, who seem to increasingly becoming aware that there may no longer be a positive solution and certainly not at the hands of this Obozo who wreaks nothing but havoc out of the Oval Office.
None of it pro-America but all of it the pro-Islamic and pro-Communist agendas of our enemies.

OBAMA UNABLE TO FULLY IMPLEMENT OBAMACARE!
BREAKING!! Obama's Health and Human Services ends controversial program in health reform law (Obamacare dying)
This part they gave up on (CLASS, Community Living Assistance Service and Supports Act) is basically the long-term care part of Obamacare that was supposed to replace medicare.
The premiums couldn’t have been high enough given how many would be using it and using more than they’d been paying in. Long-term care insurance is very expensive because you can be on it a long time and easily use more than you pay in.
Half of ObamaCare's supposed deficit reduction comes from the Community Living Assistance Service and Supports (CLASS) Act, a long-term care benefit tacked onto the bill and scored as reducing the deficit by about $70 billion over the next decade.
But that's only because the law's authors gamed the Congressional Budget Office's scoring rules. The score counted premiums collected this decade as reducing the deficit despite the fact that they'll be needed to pay out benefits later.
Even worse, the premiums won't be enough to pay for all of the benefits: In the long-term, the program isn't self-sustaining, and will actually add to the federal deficit.
In any case, a SERIOUS win for America. Here’s to the rest of Obamacommiecare crumbling into ashes.
“We have not identified a way to make CLASS work at this time,” she wrote on the Huffington Post’s website.
Secretary Sebelius said HHS will “suspend” implementation of the program.
Where does Kathleen Sebelius get the authority to unilaterally suspend implementation of a law passed by Congress?
It’s completely unconstitutional activity. Even with the bill being riddled with "at the discretion of..." it’s still completely unconstitutional activity.
This violates the Impoundment Control Act of 1974. Obama should need to request suspending the program, then both the House and Senate must approve it within 45 days.
It also tries to avoid the "non-severability" clause of the bill which insists that ALL of the bill has to implemented and NONE of it can be cut out without INVALIDATING the whole law. "Suspending" it is an attempted evasion of the content of the bill.
Obama, hoist with his own petard, has to agree his plan cannot work!

POWER OF NATURE VISUALLY PRESENTED
This is only a tiny, fascinating part of natural power, oceans, volcanoes, rivers, storms, blizzards earthquakes and tsunamis are a few more examples.
Lightning has concentrated power that seems to imitate the lash of a whip as opposed to the blow of a club.
Australian and other scientists are calculating the unleashing of solar power (solar winds) that by comparison make natural power on earth a tiny spark - and release the energy of about 100 MILLION nuclear Hydrogen bombs all exploding at one time on our planet as the winds hit us.
WITHIN THE NEXT 18 MONTHS!
The fact that thousands of years ago, Mayans apparently came to the same conclusion based on 16,000 year solar cycles calculations, makes the Mayans an interesting race or people - now confirmed in their predictions by modern science.
If the scientists are only 10% accurate, the population of planet earth is not going to survive the cumulative, crescendoing event, which would probably have a "precursory" (perhaps short or long) build up rather than a single life exterminating flash.
So?
So, why are we bashing each other up politically, socially, emotionally and physically as we wait?
Because we cannot believe or imagine any of this and thus discount it.
Just as Americans cannot believe or imagine a President being our primary enemy instead of our primary protector. And so FAIL to take action to prevent the destruction he is raining down on us.
Contrary to standing up to Nature's superhuman power, at his Presidential level of UNnatural, falsely created power, we the populace of the planet CAN oppose and overcome this evil attack on us, on our well-being and survivability.
The big question: does it really matter in the imminent big picture?
AND is the increasing tension among members of Left or Rightwing groups and blogs starting to throw insults at each other as well as their opponents, rising increasingly to flash crowds and ORGANIZED violence, a sign of the impending "solar wind" being sensed by all of us and reacting to the mental and emotional discomfort of danger we face and do not consciously know how to handle?
Or is it a human reaction to being MISMANAGED by our governments? Or both!

His permission and encouragement to have his Administration , Homeland Security, Justice Department and multiple organizations, totally inflitrated at top and high levels by powerful Jihadists, to where even the FBI cannot operate without Obama backed interference by Islamic Organizaitons like CAIR,, indicates how Obama works to destroy America as you and I have known it.
5. The corrupt, Chicago gangster style crony deals he has created to pass our tax dollars to his supporters or Democrat thug friends barely merits any concealment in his mind. The stench is rising.

Apart from the thousands he has sent to their deaths by overthrowing North African leaders, previous support for his uncle Odinga in Kenya where thousands of Christian died at his uncle's hands, there is a growing Clintonesque list of people around him dying under strange circumstances or unexpectedly.

CURTIS “POOKIE” JACKSON - Chicago drug dealer. Was the subject of a police investigation in which he was suspected of funneling money to 0bama’s many various community projects. Killed in 1998 in an apparent gang murder.
HARVEY KENYON - Head of 0bama’s senatorial security team in Chicago. Gunned down in his car at a deserted intersection outside of Grant Park in 2005. Kenyon’s son said his father was building a dossier on Obama. He allegedly threatened to reveal this information. After he died the files were mysteriously removed from his house
SHEILA BAUGH - A Washington DC madame. Died from a gunshot wound. Reported to have a black book of people containing names of influential people who visited the prostitutes in her brothel. One of those names was allegedly Barack 0bama.
KEYSHAWN “SPOON” CALWORTH - Was found dead of an apparent heroin overdose May 18, 1997. Was reported to have ties to Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
LAWSHAWNA MARTIN- 26 year old mother of five, a Cabrini Green resident with a history of substance abuse. Told two of her co-workers at the Blue Peppermint Gentleman’s Club that she would have to quit work because she was pregnant again. Strongly implied that the “baby daddy” was Barack 0bama. The next week, she was reported missing. No body was ever recovered, but Lawshana has not resurfaced since making those remarks.
BILL FERGUSON- Senior aide to Barack 0bama. Found dead of an apparent heart attack.
GANDY BAUGH - Attorney for 0bama friend Antonin Rezko died by falling out an eightieth story window of the Hancock Tower, January, 2003.
