At a panel during Paris Games Week, Sega confirmed that the original Sonic the Hedgehog for Sega Genesis will be an unlockable bonus in Sonic Generations.
Details on how the game will unlock haven't been revealed, but producer Takashi Iizuka confirmed that it's the full, playable original game, and not simply a themed level in Generations.
Meanwhile, Steam has also revealed that customers who pre-purchase the game on Steam will receive copies of Sonic 3D Blast and Sonic 3 and Knuckles as a bonus.
