Grab your lightsabers -- Star Wars: The Old Republic is just about two months away -- for everyone. Today, a cavalcade of developers from BioWare took the New York Comic-Con stage to talk about the MMO. They also announced that the December 20, 2011 is the release date for the entire world and not just North America.
On top of that, Bioware showed a screenshot from a new unnamed mission featuring a green Hutt (the third major power in the galaxy behind the Republic and the Empire), announced that your physical appearance will change as you move towards the light side or dark side, and talked about a new PVP Warzone called "Voidstar" on a huge cruiser.
However, BioWare also broke down Star Wars: The Old Republic into some interesting factoids. What did these crazy numerical values mean? Well...
- 4.8 Million - The number of hours testers have put into the game since March.
- 200,000 - The average number of forum posts each week.
- 15 - The number of Flashpoints (group-based combat similar to other MMO dungeons) that will be available at launch.
