Anyway, be sure to check out the interview. This one looks promising.
So far the login attempts, for the greater part, have been failed attempts. But people using the same login information from the compromised source are at risk. According to Sony, less than 0.1% of the PSN, SEN and SOE audience have been affected. While 0.1% does not sound like a lot, this number represents 93,000 accounts throughout the combined networks. These accounts have been temporarily locked, and only a small percentage of accounts showed any unauthorized activity.
After dealing with Xbox LIVE Arcade unauthorized access and its lockdown procedure, I can't help but admire Sony for at least telling people what's going on. Unlike MS, which prefers to hide the evidence and make the victims pay the ultimate price.
Blue's News also pointed out that you may now preorder Human Revolution's soundtrack from Amazon.com.
I skipped the beta. Did any of you play it? What were your thoughts?
If you'd like to take a look at what sort of details are covered by a typical tutorial then look no further than the newest Take On Helicopters trailer:
Frozenbyte also sends a reminder that the Humble Frozenbyte Bundle is still in progress, at least for another 13 hours past the timestamp on this post. A couple more games were added, and users can still set their price as low as about $5 to get the entire collection plus a ton of extras. I highly recommend it, even if just for the _ensnare_ albums that come with Frozen Synapse. The effort has already raised over $1,072,705 from 221,740 purchases.
Anyways, onto the Trine 2 Unlimited trailer!
A fundamental focus for the design team is to ensure that the unique and fluid shape-shifting combat from the original PROTOTYPE is truly enhanced and sharpened to an all-new level for PROTOTYPE 2.As Sgt. James Heller, players will be able to truly master combat while roaming through PROTOTYPE 2's open-world New York Zero (NYZ). New combat moves such as the Tactical Dodge allow players to jump over and avoid incoming enemy attacks and places them in the perfect position for an immediate counter attack. Our vicious dismemberment system allows players to cut off enemy arms and legs (and heads) which alters and slows down enemies, allowing players to get a better visual read on attacking foes, and thusly get out of the way. Heller's new Shield provides both offensive and defensive abilities allowing players to interrupt and stagger incoming enemy attacks, and additionally deflect incoming rockets right back to their sender, or off to other nearby enemies.
Now that Dark Souls is out I've allowed it to take over most of my free gaming time. I'd guesstimate that I'm probably close to 3/4 done with the game, soon I'll be taking out the top dudes for a trip to whatever is waiting in the end-game. I don't even want to think about how many times I've died while on this journey though. Somehow no matter how much Dark Souls (much like Demon's Souls) punishes the player there's always something really special about getting to that next campfire spot, or defeating that one epic boss.
I'd like to see the credits roll before doing a review, but so far so good. I can appreciate the changes made in Dark vs Demon's, it's too bad there's still not any form of a map though. For anyone that hasn't played the series before, there's little to no direction given once the game is started. Players are just kind of plopped into the world, with very little to no direction.
Speaking of maps and routes, it's Epic Rap Battle time with none other than Christopher Columbus, and Captain Kirk! Today's runner up: The Avengers trailer.

If you're dying to jump into Bethesda's newest masterpiece Skyrim come 11/11/11, here is a tidbit of info to help feed your Elder Scroll addicted mind. A full view of the map as well as scanned in pages from the manual have been leaked online. You know a game is big when blurry pictures of the game's manual are getting attention. As far as I could tell, there isn't anything particularly revealing in either the map nor manual, but it is a little something to chew on now that Skyrim is less than 30 days away. I know Skyrim is at the top of my must buy list for games coming out this year. How about you? Did examining the manual and map bolster or hurt your expectations?

Might and Magic: Heroes VI has begun pre-loading on Steam. I've been playing the heck out of an advanced review copy and have been having a blast. Make sure to keep an eye out for my review coming soon, I'll give you the in's and out's on some of the pretty significant changes to this installment in the series.

Details are starting to emerge on the Minecraft Wiki about the newest dimension in Minecraft - The Ender. Apparently the Endermen aren't from your normal dimension, they come from a far away land that will contain things like Enderdragons and obsidian obelisks. The portals to the Ender will be found in strongholds apparently, and from some of the screens, it looks like you'll need to craft Eyes of Ender to both locate and open these portals. You can check out more details and follow emerging clues here.
I think that is one of the most fascinating and wondrous things about Minecraft, is its simplicity, success, and design model allow Mojang to pretty much freely run with their imaginations and add new dimensions and tweak gameplay to their heart's content. The best part is, there is plenty more to come as well; the sky dimension is still in the works along with the recently revealed magical crafting tables. It will be interesting to see if Notch and co keep up this level of feature creep after the game's official release in November, but so far they are not showing any signs of slowing down, and I applaud their efforts. Continually adding new content adds to the whimsy of the world, continually giving players new things to do and new interesting places to discover. I'm honestly still trying to catch up with all of the new features they've been adding though, I haven't even gotten around to making dyes or playing with pistons yet. What do you think? Is Minecraft becoming a mountain of awesome, or are there too many changes with too much new content for you to keep up with?
4 player co-op multiplayer
Join your friends in the all-out galactic war to take Earth back. The universe of Mass Effect expands with the addition of new co-op multiplayer missions, playable over Xbox Live, PSN and PC internet. Players can choose from a variety of classes and races, form an elite Special Forces squad, and combine their weapons, powers and abilities to devastating effect as they fight together to liberate key territories from enemy control. Success in multi-player will have a direct impact on the outcome of the single player campaign, giving players an alternative method of achieving ultimate victory against the greatest threat mankind – and the entire galaxy – has ever faced.
Mass Effect 3: Galaxy at War
As a bonus to the campaign, BioWare is introducing the Mass Effect 3: Galaxy at War system, a new way for players to manage and experience the galactic war from multiple fronts, including a new 4-player co-op mode. The key to saving the galaxy is the “Galactic Readiness” level, measured by Commander Shepard’s ability to apply every possible asset – people, weapons, resources, armies, fleets – in the final battle against the Reapers. Players can impact their game’s Galactic Readiness level in multiple ways via the Mass Effect 3: Galaxy at War system, including multiplayer. Other platforms and interfaces will be announced in the coming months. It is important to note that the system is entirely optional and just another way players can have control over your game experience – it is still possible to achieve the optimal, complete ending of the game in Mass Effect 3 through single-player alone.
The episode, about Gaddafi and the IRA, was meant to provide a hard-hitting launch for the show. But the broadcaster was forced to issue an apology after eagle-eyed gamers noted key footage was in fact a sequence from computer game, Arma 2.ITV blamed "human error" which led to the use of the games clip, which was labelled "IRA film 1988", and said it did have the correct footage. Ofcom said on Monday that it was launching an investigation to see whether the incident constituted a breach of its broadcasting code.
The Robin Bundle Pack is scheduled for availability on November 22nd to all owners of the game, and the Robin Edition of the game is still available for pre-order.

He is best known for his work on The New Teen Titans in the early 1980s, creating the vampire slayer Blade in Marvel's Tomb of Dracula, and scripting the comic book mini-series, Crisis on Infinite Earths.
“I’m a huge fan of Dragon Age and working with BioWare on Mark of the Assassin has been a dream come true,” said Felicia Day. “The colorful characters and deep story-telling of Dragon Age is what BioWare does best and the way the team brought Tallis into the fiction felt very natural. I was extremely excited to use their amazing world as my creative playground in developing her character.”“We instantly recognized Felicia’s passion, expertise and inherent knowledge of the Dragon Age lore and knew it was something special,” said Mark Darrah, Executive Producer on Dragon Age. “Felicia is a really great fit for Tallis and incorporating such a passionate fan into our fiction was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up.”
Surrounded by deception and intrigue, Hawke finds himself face-to-face with a cunning Rogue assassin named Tallis as she intervenes during a perilous ambush. In return for her aid in defeating a group of mercenaries, Tallis asks Hawke to help her steal a precious relic from an Orlesian Duke in his well-guarded estate outside of Kirkwall. In Dragon Age II: Mark of the Assassin, players will explore open, outdoor environments and dive deeper into the backstory of the Orlesian and Qunari races. Dragon Age II: Mark of the Assassin can be accessed from a safe house at any point in the Dragon Age II campaign.

That being said, I promised last time that I’d make a sojourn outside of the bunker, if only for a little while. In the week since I last posted, I’ve been troubled by ruminations that General_SOKOL’s off topic remarks in the HOICCG Contest Winners Thread may have some bearing on reality.
"...commies took over the world. They even conquered (intellectually) USA (now: United Soviet America). That's the reason of crisis….Fearing that General_SOKOL may be correct, I decided to head over to Fort Smith, Arkansas to visit the Hanging Judge Gun & Knife Show and see if free enterprise still existed within the so-called United States of America.Game is not going to change fact that USA is Chinese poodle now, and employs communist ideology abroad and internally and is feeding Chinese communist party with money and technology at expense of hardest working and poorest US citizens. Game does not change the fact that USA itself became a communist country (and therefore got conquered by commies) because it widely employs communist ideology when it comes to employment even of well qualified workers and commerce and business practices. USA is a communist country but calls itself a capitalist country with no ****ing reason other than brainwashing game of the words propaganda for benefit of rich people (read Ludwig Wittgenstein about game of the words to understand what I mean)."

The Hanging Judge gun show was slightly disappointing. First off, they had a lot of the cowboy stuff that doesn’t really interest me. Second, they didn’t have the stereotypical old guy with the quasi pro Nazi sympathies selling Hitler Youth knives. The closest you got to that stereotype was someone selling some Confederate Flag patches, but you can find that kind of thing in just about any random gas station in Occupied Dixie. Maybe the old Nazi types have been run off by the communists? I can tell you that the dealers were selling a lot of commie weapons and even a Budenovka! Perhaps General_SOKOL was correct all along…. I was going to pick up the Budenovka and send it to him as proof of his theories, but he might take such a gesture the wrong way.

On the return trip I had to stop by the Cracker Barrel, just to escape from the bastion of Communism that was the Hanging Judge Gun & Knife show. The Cracker Barrel promised a folksy, non- communist Americana atmosphere and decidedly non communist food. It was there that I discovered the most challenging strategy game in existence: the Cracker Barrel Peg game! Unfortunately, to my dismay, I found that the peg game was made in China. Truly, the communists have undermined every aspect of American society just as Antonio Gramsci planned!
Given the Communist takeover of the USA, I may have to keep hiding in the bunker, but I have plans for a little feature for you for around this time next week which might require some additional traveling. In the meantime, here are some random pictures from the Gun and Knife Show.
