Privacy is dead, get over it.
ZOMG! The cell phone companies are tracking me!
Yeah, and so is everyone else.
I’m gonna keep beating this like a dead horse.
There is no such thing as privacy. There never was.
The bank always knew about your finances, the doctor’s office always knew about your health and your friends and co-workers knew about everything else.
That horse is out of the barn, down the road and in another county.

I think I see the problem here…
“The point of being in jail is not to mistreat people or make them feel worse and resentful,” –Marion Damick
No, the point of jail to keep criminals off the streets.
But they shouldn’t be better off in jail…
The County Jail Oversight Board recently approved the purchase of 40 Sony Bravia televisions for viewing in the jail common areas.
If a judge sentenced you to the Allegheny County Jail, you’d be provided three hot meals and a bed to sleep in, but in common areas, you’d also be able to watch cable shows on 42-inch Sony flat screens.
Anyone else see the problem here?

Agency task force formed to stop payments to dead people
Payments to dead people expected to increase.
The Office of Personnel Management has created a task force on improper payments after an inspector general report revealed that the agency has paid $601 million in retirement benefits to dead people.
Has a government agency ever solved a problem it was created to solve?
Nope.

Your “OMFG WOW!” of the day
“The left clip is a segment of the movie that the subject viewed while in the magnet. The right clip shows the reconstruction of this movie from brain activity measured using fMRI. The reconstruction was obtained using only each subject’s brain activity and a library of 18 million seconds of random YouTube video. (In brief, the algorithm processes each of the 18 million clips through the brain model, and identifies the clips that would have produced brain activity as similar to the measured brain activity as possible. The clips used to fit the model, those used to test the model and those used to reconstruct the stimulus were entirely separate.) Brain activity was sampled every one second, and each one-second section of the viewed movie was reconstructed separately.”
I am stunned.

Sometimes I hate my subconscious
Last night I dreamed I was being chased by zombies.
Little, one foot tall zombies. (Like those little demons from “The Gate“)
They all looked exactly like Robb Allen.
.
.
.
Yes, that’s right.
It was the Robb Zombie Apocalypse.
