Nativist Arizona Senate President Russell Pearce Will Face Recall Election | Arizona state Sen. Russell Pearce (R), who spearheaded his state’s draconian anti-immigrant law SB 1070, will face a recall election. Last week, the state’s chief elections official certified that recall supporters submitted 10,365 signatures supporting a recall. Only 7,756 were required.
