The Original Office Turns 10 on DVD

In a rare instance, fans of United States domestic programming take notice of a blooming British series on a massive scale. The most recent series to break the border gap was the likes of Doctor Who, but one of the first series of the past decade to really touch North American viewers was none other than The Office. Ricky Gervais turned his comedy series about awkward office atmosphere into a worldwide smash hit, which in turn spun off its own North American version of the series.

The original British series is receiving a Special Edition DVD collection for the first time ever, as The Office's 10th Anniversary Collection will be gracing the format on November 22, 2011, offering every episode of the Gervais series in one convenient box set, sprawling out across four discs and all fourteen episodes, including the two-part Christmas special. It will contain bonus materials and extra features -- four hours worth, to be precise -- and the DVD will be available for the MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) of $39.98.
