You made me miss Thailand all the more! Been there last May and have been raring to go back ever since. I thought people were joking when they said it’s a haven for shopping. Well, it definitely is
These photos are gorgeous! At first, I was hoping to read a little something about each one, but as I went through them, there was no need for you to write anything…they speak for themselves.
Chiang Mai, what a wonderful town! I visited one of my girlfriend over there. She is married with a Thai. They are the owner of Scorpion Tours and are doing amazing Sightseeing tours. I stayed 10 days in Chian Mai. Wonderful town with not so many tourists as in other regiions of Thailand. The nightmarket is amazing and eating over there each night was my daily pleasure. You can’t go wrong with any of these open restaurants where locals also eat. No worry to get sick over there. If you are in this region please visit also the DJUNGEL MARKET. A great and stunning experience. All the best for you.
Wow. Gorgeous photos. These make me want to go back to Chiang Mai. Of all the places I’ve holidayed, I think Chiang Mai was the city we stayed in for the longest. It was by necessity, but it is an easy city to hang out in.
fabulous shots! the history and culture and lifestyle are so different from the states. it’s very intriguing. i need to make a trip! thanks for sharing!
Isn’t it simply beautiful there! My very good, old High School chum, Richard has lived there for ages now and loves the place. Just in case you need an English speaker that knows the territory and customs, etc. I can give you his numbers, if you need them! Enjoy your experience over there… it’s such a delightful display of colors, smells, tastes… and jungle!
THIS is just day one? STUNNING images!
wow… those gold buildings are fascinating. What an experience!
I love Chiang Mai. Thanks for bringing back great memories!
Kathy
Those kids are soooo cute! Love your pictures
Gorgeous photography! Thank you for sharing!
Holy cow, these pictures are gorgeous. My fave: the status of the hippo that’s labeled ‘Mom.’ I have to confess, it made me giggle.
Congrats on FP!

I love your photos! I just returned from Chiang Mai a few months ago. Such a beautiful city and country, yet so much darkness in that place.

It appears that Lotus land still looks like it ever was: an idealized paradise full of delusions and dreams.
