According to Deadline, the 1992 Jean-Claude Van Damme/Dolph Lundgren sci-fi action flick Universal Soldier is currently being developed as a TV series.

FremantleMedia North America is producing the project and Damian Kindler (Stargate, Sanctuary) is writing. It's being called a "reboot" at the moment, whatever that might entail story-wise. The '92 movie was directed by Roland Emmerich and starred Van Damme as a soldier brought back to life via cybernetics. Keep in mind too, that once Van Damme became part machine, he just wanted to eat.
