I mentioned a while back about participating in Xbox Lives' Gaming for Giving is Good (and their team-up with ExtraLife.org).

Well, I'm SUPER happy & proud that you guys not only enabled me to reach my goal of $1,000.00 but to actually GO OVER by almost $500.!

So, how 'bout Double or Nuthin'?

I think we can reach $2,000.00 by Oct. 1st (The day where I'm prepped to do my marathon). 24 hours of game play for $2,000.00 all to benefit the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

For those of you looking to score some easy cog & collectibles achievements in Gears 3 - look no further that this week's IGN Strategize. We don't go through the whole list, just enough to start you off right.

I've seen a lot of gripe online that this video is a 'spoiler' vid. I strongly feel that such is not the case - and here is why:

1. Nothing about the storyline or any major boss battles or plot point are given away. 2. We only tell you how to get a few to get you started then, unless you read the guide, you are on your own. 3. We're talking about cogs & collectibles here - I mean, you're REALLY that upset about it? C'mon. 4. Do a barrel roll. 5. We do this for almost every other major game out there because, once the game DOES hit store shelves, we're going to be in a race against time to make this kind of news relevant for you. 6. Kisses.
