The Vita can play with its older sibling the PSP.

Siliconera spied an update detailed on the Vita's Japanese website. If you download a PSP title onto your shiny new Vita, you'll still be able to connect and compete with PSP users playing the same title.


The downside: this will not be the case with every title. While Eurogamer states that it will work with "the majority" of games, a list of compatible titles has yet to be released.
