Elisabeth Sladen was possibly the most beloved of all the Doctor's companions, and boy have there been a lot of them. Depicting the lovely Sarah Jane, Sladen brought a humble curiosity to her character to translated well with viewers during the boom years with Tom Baker as the Doctor. She was introduced to a whole new generation when she met up again with tenth Doctor David Tennant in the episode "School Reunion," which was so well-received by fans it led to her very own show, The Sarah Jane Adventures.

Although her life was cut short due to cancer at the age of 64, fans will always remember Sladen fondly as an important part of the Who-niverse. Warner Home Video will be delivering the Complete Fourth Season box set to DVD on December 6, 2011 in her memory.

Former Doctor Who companion, Sarah Jane, and her team of youngsters are back for a fourth season of fighting aliens and solving mysteries. Created by former Doctor Who showrunner, Russell T Davies, this exciting action-adventure series follows the exploits of school friends Luke, Clyde and Rani, who team up with alien investigator Sarah Jane Smith and her trusty super-computer Mr. Smith to examine strange and mysterious events. Speaking of Mr. Smith, The Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) makes an appearance in this season of the program. The DVD will be available for the MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) of $29.98.
