Aug. 24 Still in MIchigan.
Well instead of being home in Haiti we wait for flights to resume to Haiti. Thankfully Delta agreed on Monday not to charge us for changing flights after IBC canceled our flight into Haiti.
So we called again this morning to find out if IBC would fly to Haiti tomorrow....no.
Tomorrow we need to call at 1 p.m. to find out if flights will resume on Friday but doubtful as we need to fly to Florida and then Haiti. Looks like Hurricane Irene will still be in the way.
We remain packed. The apartment is clean and most of the laundry still clean. We generally give away our food before going but had not done it yet so we still have some food.
Cory's working on office work. Eli and Anna spend some more time with Todd and Beth's kids while Beth had 4 hours of medical testing. I finished a cross stitch for my Dad's birthday...September 15th.
Cory phoned Fauche on Monday to cancel our ride home. We hear that our area received a lot of rain but no wind damage. Praying for those in the path.

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
