Surprise! Russia, China Retreat from UNSC Referral

Asked in a news briefing in Moscow when Russia would be willing to refer Iran to the Security Council, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was vague, saying: "This is a very schematic approach. Politics allow no such approach." He added, "I don't think the I.A.E.A. board of governors has run out of possibilities."

A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said Beijing favored diplomacy and urged all sides to "keep patient and make utmost efforts to resume negotiations" between the Europeans and Iran. Previously: Source: Iran's Referral to UNSC "A Done Deal"

Israeli Experts Urge Covert Ops Strikes on Iranian Nukes

An air raid on Iran's nuclear facilities, he said, would ultimately fail since some of the reactors are hidden deep in underground bunkers. Therefore Israel had the best chance at thwarting the program by sabotaging one of the reactors and causing nuclear fallout, he said.

"The goal is not to stop the plan since that is almost impossible," the former security official said. "We need to delay it by five years and hope that within that period the current Iranian government will be overturned."...

Music to my ears.

Oh, man, I can hardly wait for that. I could well tolerate nuclear research by muslim countries, if every attempt ended like that.
