I love Etsy for shower gifts! I am found a sling and matching burp clothes for a friend due this July. I love the choice of modern fabrics available.
I recently got a friend some of these oh-so-cute Trumpette socks, along with a gift certificate for a baby portrait session with a local photog, so she could schedule a shoot with her little one whenever she's ready! She absoltuely loved it, and was so excited not to get another blanket or onesy! Great ideas!

I am getting a vintage toy tea set for my best friend's baby girl. She is going to display it on a shelf in the nursery, and then someday her daughter can play with it. There are lots of great options on eBay in a wide variety of prices.

The baby shower cards were beautiful, and I my friend plans to order her birth announcements cards there also!
