So I started a new blog, but I'm too lazy to blog. LOL. I literally forgot how much work it is!
Grateful Guy and I booked our first cruise together...
I don't imagine we will be getting much rest with live music practically 24/7, but vacations are rarely for rest now, are they? LOL. Can't wait to meet other people who enjoy the same music and the artists. We are already registered on the boards and meeting some cool peeps. =)
I think Jam Cruise is going to be a far cry from the only other cruise I have been on... Disney Cruise.
Not to mention I was sick as a dog! Tuesday, May 18, 2010
Lazy Layla.
We rescued Layla a couple of months ago from the animal shelter. She had been there for a year and is three years old and a Lab mix.Such a sweet dog.
Very skittish.
And very much SPOILED at this point!
She spends her days on the couch (as you can see above) and her nights on our bed.
To make our lives easier, or so we thought, we bout her a dog bed in hopes that she would use it instead.
She's scared of it!
Anyone know how to get a dog to use a dog bed???
=)

Call Me Nature Girl. I Don't Mind. =)
I used to have a blog. In my old life. It was an escape for me while I was in a bad marriage. 22 years worth of "bad marriage".
I finally escaped. Nine months ago in fact.
Today, I am happier, but miss my blog. I used to go by my nickname "Bella", but really don't care to associate myself with that name while I'm trying to move forward with my life. Thus, I'm now Nature Girl. Haha.
My life has changed soooo much over the past 9 months. Today, I am living with the most amazing man (Nature Guy) and he is literally my soul mate by every definition of the word. We went to high school and college together and have lived in the same town all this time, but never really saw each other. This is his blog too and he will be posting as well. =)
My two boys, ages 11 and 13 now, live with their father here in my town. Not the ideal situation for me, but considering the terror I went through, it was the best and easiest decision for us at the time, in order for me just be able to get out of that toxic relationship. It's so hard to not have them with me all the time, but I see them often.
My ex isn't dealing well with this divorce at all, and I can really blog a lot about all the negative he brings to my life in a daily basis, but I won't (for now anyway...LOL). I'm trying to move forward and move on with my life. Besides, it would take way too long to blog all that!
Anyway, I think blogging is a good and positive experience for me. I have missed dearly all my old blogging friends and reading every one's blogs.
Nature Girl =)
