What up Ghostface....being that I have been a fan of TRUE HIPHOP I totally feel what you are saying....I actually saw the first Yo MTV Raps, the first ever Rap City show, LL's first video, Run DMC having to do Walk This Way to help HipHop crossover....the problem is that HipHop's culture has been too commercialized because the hunger for fame. Its becoming dumbed down because more cultures are welcoming it....if I went to China right now....I wouldn't know how to communicate with the natives, but I would learn the basics as if I am a child so that I can one day communicate and UNDERSTAND the people. The BIG WIGS USE HIPHOP for $ so they don't give a fuck about The Artform....our HipHop Heroes were too busy partying, drinking, using drugs, getting involved in bullshit, and becoming slaves to the label....so the Art turned into "WHAT DO THEY WANT FROM ME?"....our HipHop heroes were too busy selling Chains, Whips, Clothes, and Liquor and not investing in their stake in HipHop culture....by doing all of this selling our HipHop heroes allowed Corporate America to gain control of the culture....similar to how Africa was raped by every dominate kingdom, corporate America is now raping the game....and our heroes are too scared to step up and control it because the same people control their paydays and status....so when that happens....there are no longer artists....they sell characters and gimmicks....but I am kind of happy this is happening because now I get to read Ghostface blogs on how he feels about how the game is today....SUPPORT TRUE HIPHOP!!!!

welcome to the real world; in order for things to progress and new forms of artistic expression to occur things have to pass on, art has always been this way. maybe you are working on something that time is passing by; maybe you need find the new form or maybe you are not the one to do it. Rap and HipHop are dead or it's old and putrid... what ever it is one thing the "Culture" need's to stop stealing music and pay for it, got to show's and have no drama and show that they are a responsible part of society; start there and the you can come to the table and make demands on how you want things to be.
