The Royal Wedding
I am still awake at 1:45 a.m. I was hating of the idea of the Royal Wedding because it has demanded so much attention in the press for the past few months. The day is here and I am up late so I might as well watch it. I still not sure I have heard so many disparaging remarks about the relevancy of the Monarchy the cost of the wedding in this time of global economic and political upheaval.
I am very curious to see what Kate Middleton’s dress looks like. I remember being very young when Princess Diana married Prince Charles. The day was filled with wonder and so much fanfare just like the wedding of William and Catherine.
The hghlights of the wedding will have to serve me better than a night of lost sleep.
>Crazy Cat Lady Discovered in Toronto
>The news today tells the story of a woman that had over 60 cats residing with her in her home. The SPCA had to go to the home an remove the cats. The cats were kept in disgusting and filthy condition. Neighbour on the same street have been complaining for years and about the condition of the home and were grateful to finally have their prayers answer when the house was raided. The cats will all be examined by vets at the scene and sent to different SPCA locations for treatment if necessary. This story illustrates why spaying and neutering is so important. What puzzles me is why the case took so long to resolve and how many cats could have been saved if only they had acted sooner. The owner of the cats has not been charged but I am expecting that their will be charges even if just motivated by public outcry.
The phenomena of the crazy cat lady is something that North America stories are filled and in most occasion we usually laugh when mention is made of someone with a lot of cats. The lady maybe label crazy, lonely or spinster with limited prospects. The true fact is that animals need love and attention and people should not have more animals than they are able to feed or take care of in a reasonable manner i.e. shot, sterilization and medical attention when needed.

>Ex Email After Many Months
>
So last week I get a email from a past time intimate friend. He was polite, concerned and brief in his email. I responded back, but not after thinking about it a lot. It took me many days and emotional searching to coming up with the courage to return his message and to later call him after he left his number in a follow up email. I shed tears, I did a full list that outlined the pros and cons for calling him. Funny I sometimes wonder if I invited him back into my life using the law of attraction. I was thinking about and I my have even said the love word attached to his name, but only to myself and maybe the universe. My aversion calling leads me to believe that I do have feelings for him. I also knew that I cared I was not convinced that my feelings were return and I was left feeling most needy and mostly hurting and wondering.
In the time that we were apart I justified the reason for not calling being that he did not care about me in the same way that I felt about him. I felt powerless in the relationship so I was willing to walk away from him. The common pattern with us is separation reconciliation and then hot sex. Hot sex that was good for it’s pure reason but no good at establishing connection of real sense of security.

>Rolling Stones Magazine with Rihanna On The Cover
>So I just got in from the store, while there I checked out the magazines on the shelves. Rolling Stone Magazine caught my eye. I was curious like everyone else out the to get a glimpse of Rihanna fine form but the article that caught my eye was the one talking about U.S. solider in Afghanistan. The article displayed gruesome pictures of death Afghan civilians that were killed by the soldiers.
The article went on to tell of the soldiers blatant disregard for human life. The soldiers even took pictures of the death and circulated them amongst themselves. The pictures show the soldiers posing with dead bodies, they took pictures of dismembered civilians and even mutilated their victims. The article went on to outline the crimes that these soldiers inflicted on the people. The pictures were surreal and I have never seem real violence displayed so boldly and without shame.
The presence of Americans in Afghanistan is only making the people of that country even more anti-American. The American occupation of this country will probably leave Americans with more enemies than it started out with.

>Reclusive Man Dies A Millionare
>I read this article today in a local paper that reported on the death of a Lotto 649 Multi-millionaire. The man was said to have died alone with no family or friends at him side. The man’s name is Graham Gelineau and he won 37 million dollars in a 2007 draw. The man before winning lived in a rooming house and was employed at low income clerk at a betting house in the Toronto area.
Upon winning his millions he did not return to the rooming house out of fears that he would have many people looking for a hand-out. Mr. Gelineau died of an undisclosed medical condition with no public funeral arrangement and no arrangements for a veiwing . Mr Gelineau lived the life of a recluse with no contact with his family. He is said to have never dated.
This man story is so said and it points to the importance of having a family as support system. While I do not know the cause of the estrangement between Mr. Gelineau I can image that there must people that a innocent to whatever the quarrel may have been and could have definitely benefited for a surplus of cash. The story goes on to tell us that Mr. Gelineau was a chess lover, a avid reader of science fiction and battled with obesity.
Over a sad story of a sad sounding man. This is definitely not the freedom that many people imagine that their lives would offer given such a great amount cash
Moral of the story health is always better than wealth and that with the love of family and friends live is so much richer.
