Friend and contributer to The Weblog Jared Sinclair has just lost everything except for his computer and notebooks in an apartment fire. Jared is a talented musician and lost his guitars and recording equipment in the fire. He is also an avid reader and had a pretty nice library that was lost as well. Though heartbreaking and financially ruinous, there remains a kind of beauty to ruins like these. The apartment looked a bit like a very large installation piece.

I just heard about what happened from Sarah B. I am sure you remember me as Jason Grollimund’s big sister. My husband William and I live in Nashville and would love to help but we don’t know how to contact you.
