QR Codes : The Next BIG thing in Business Marketing

I am sure by now you have seen QR codes almost everywhere... on posters, in magazines, on products... and the list goes on.

BERJAYAWhy not take it a step further and go mobile with it... literally.

Nicole Rendon, Independent Distributor of Scentsy requested I make her two QR code decals... one for her website and another to her Facebook Fan Page.  It makes "liking" her FB page and ordering from her website even easier for people passing by.

BERJAYAI sometimes have a full car decal with business advertising on my car's rear window but sometimes I remove it, change around the wording etc.  Even when I do not have my business advertisement decal on my car, I still have this 6" QR code decal I made that links directly to my Facebook Fan Page.  Curious minds are everywhere and seeing a QR code to scan attracts them.

Adding a business name and website decal to you window is another good way to attract people to your website, however, the QR code decals will get them there even quicker.  I offer the business vehicle decals on my website starting at only $20 (current price).  Adding a QR code to one of these is another great option for mobile advertising.

JAX Couture Events is another local area business I made QR code decals for.  They added them to the front door of their venue since they have a lot of foot traffic.  Because they are not always available for walk-ins at the venue, people walking by can just scan the door and go right to where they want to lead them.  In this case, their Facebook page, website and Twitter page.

Someone recently asked me if I decal everything I come in contact with. To which I replied, "Of course not... but I do try!"
I found this cute pair of rain boots at a kids consignment sale this weekend.  They were marked $4.50 with 50% off.  I just couldn't pass us the $2.25 deal... especially when they were just yelling, "Please decal me!"

I added a monogram decal to for my toddler daughter and even found a cute shirt that coordinates with them.  Now I just have to make her a personalized rain umbrella with these colors and she will be all ready to splish and splash in the rain!
If you have a pair of rain boots that you want to monogram, I would be happy to help you with a set of monogram decals. Just send me an email with the size you need, color and monogram (First, LAST, Middle)... and if you would like a matching personalized umbrella, of course I would be happy to help you with that too!

{Inspiration Board} A Chic County Love Affair

Last summer I had the honor of participating in a photo shoot by Christy Whitehead Photography of Northeast Florida.  I got to work with Southern Charm Events, Kakes By Katie, A Fantasy in Flowers and The Keeler Property.  It was a great experience to see the behind the scenes of a styled photo shoot AND I got to put together my first table scape (well two of my first table scapes).

Here is the first table scape I styled. This is my, Black and White with Lime all over design.  I love black and white with pops of bright color, so I decided to go with lime for my first since it is part of my branding color palette.

For the black accents, I decided to throw in some chalkboard decor from my new collection.  The charger plates are completely chalkboard so they are a lot of fun to write messages on.  You could also use them as seating markers by adding a person's name to them.

The wine glasses have a stylish chalkboard label on them... also great to use as a seating marker.

The vases with the custom monogram decals make for a great detail piece and best of all, they can easily be used in the home after the wedding or event they are being used for.  If you didn't want to keep the monogram decals on there, you could always peel them right off.  Just another reason why decal is so great... you can easily peel off and resale items or even rent items and remove them before you return them.  Easy Peasy!

Overall it was a great day, at a great venue with great vendors... couldn't have asked for anything better for my first on the scene photo shoot.
Stay tuned for more coming soon...

{Client Photo} C is for... Charming

When my client asked me to come up with a design for one of her walls, I had no idea it was going to be accompanied by her entire family... in photos.  I just LOVE this hallway of photos!

This client sure enough inspired me to add a little family love to one of my longer hallways.  What a loving way to fill it!

Decals Meet History

My son and best friend decided to team up for this year's History Fair project... They both play baseball together and originally planned on doing their project on something sports related.  Somehow they went from that to the history of milk pasteurization.  Seriously, you never know where you may end with these two boys.  They have such creative minds.  Speaking of their creative minds... they managed to make this project on milk pasteurization FUN!

My son thinks like me, so of course the use of decals had to come into play somehow for their project.  The two boys are not only creative, they are both VERY silly too.  Watching them work together was (and always is), quite entertaining.

Adding vinyl decal cow prints to their overgrown milk carton.

The milk carton was built out of my new dining room light box (which was a great buy - it was marked 69.99 at Home Depot but scanned as 19.99 as a clearance price). The giant straw is a shipping tube with a vinyl decal stripe.

I think the project turned out GREAT and I am really proud of them!
