Sorry-State of Country
By Zeeshan Khan • Oct 19th, 2010 • Category: Politics • One ResponsePakistan is hurtling towards anarchy and chaos. I am not another messenger with doom, and before shooting the messenger, just think about that load-shedding around you and tell me honestly do you think that it will end any time sooner, or even later? Is somebody doing something to curb this load shedding and other horrendous problems faced by this country?
That is why I am hopeless.
The President Zardari and his whole team is responsible for the sorry-state of affairs of the country. Yes, the previous regime has its fair share of destruction, but the corruption, inability, incapacity and ineptness of this regime led by the man who is utterly disqualified for the post is the root cause of all this misery and hopelessness.
President responsible for breaking all pledges and promises is the truth which cannot be denied. After 8th February, people gave sympathy vote to the PPP, and Zardari hijacked the PPP and even then people thought perhaps he would be the changed man, and they waited and suffered in silence.
They are still waiting and suffering, but for how long?

This time is surely crucial. But all of us need to support the democratic process, because it is the best system of governance. We have a long history of military takeovers, but I hope and pray that that won’t happen again.
