Real Weddings: Ashley + Ryan
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend, got some rest, and spent lots of time with those that you love! I have four more lovely “favorite” weddings this week, starting with the adorable Ashley and Ryan! Their Seattle wedding, photographed by the fabulous Michele M. Waite, is full of color and style. It just screams happiness and joy! Ashley and Ryan created much of the decor themselves and Steven Moore Designs designed the whimsical, fun floral arrangements that paired with their ribbon theme.

Cozy Holiday Decor
I hope everyone has a warm and wonderful holiday weekend! Curl up with your loved ones, watch a lot of great Christmas movies (Love Actually is my personal favorite!) and enjoy a restful and relaxing holiday. I’m signing off for the weekend, and what better way to leave you than with a glimpse into the home of my lovely friend – and amazing florist - Holly Chapple.

Holly recently hosted a floral arranging class for a local garden club. She prepared a lovely little nibbles table that could be easily transformed for a winter wedding. Pine cones, greenery, and mercury glass grace the table, which is accented with birch and burlap to echo the cozy holiday decor in Holly’s home.

I hope everyone has a magical holiday – lots of love from the EAD family to yours! And Holly, thank you for letting us peek into your beautiful home.

Red and Gold Tabletop
Is everyone ready for the holiday? I know I am! I’m going to leave you for the weekend by sharing some holiday inspiration from the ever-talented Holly Chapple. First up, an elegant red and gold centerpiece perfect for a holiday wedding or party, and a bit later, holiday decor in Holly’s own home.
This beautiful centerpiece is set in stone urns, and features gold-painted hydrangea, curly willow and lotus pods, rose hips, red tulips, red cabbage roses, red and burgundy carnations, red amaryllis, red dahlias, and seeded eucalyptus. Holly’s elegant florals never cease to amaze me!

A twine-wrapped bouquet of dusty miller, burgundy peonies, red rose hips, red amaryllis, red tulips and red ranunculus is the perfect accompaniment to the holiday centerpiece.

Keep an eye out, because more holiday inspiration from Holly is coming your way in just a bit!

Real Weddings: Katie + Jay
Jonathan Canlas never ceases to blow me away. Every special moment is captured with care – each touch, each glance recorded under his watchful eye. Katie and Jay’s intimate wedding in Montauk, New York is no exception. The simple beauty of their wedding, the relaxed elegance, it’s all perfection.

Guests were treated to a full weekend of activities in Montauk, including bocce ball on the day of the wedding and a welcome bonfire.

Jonathan thank you for sharing this gorgeous Hamptons wedding with us! Here’s to a wonderful 2011!

Real Weddings: Lia + Rob
If there was one wedding during 2010 that I wish I could transport myself into, it would be Lia and Rob’s elegant Tuscany affair. Their timeless wedding, photographed by the amazingly talented Vania and Christine of Simply Bloom Photography, is elegant, understated, and full of love and beauty. And now, I’m going to let the gorgeous images speak for themselves!

Lia handmade the ceremony programs as well as keepsake booklets to hold their wedding vows. The simple and pure emotion on her face is magical. Also, can we discuss her classic red manicure? In a world of pale pink, I am head over heels for it!
